A Great Massage!

This massager really stands out for the power and function. It is also fairly compact and easy to travel with; it is completely non-descript as an "adult product," and since it's rechargeable, there's no batteries to constantly toss and no cords to get in the way when you're using it! I'd still recommend this product, but I hope some optional heads are available in the future!

useful review
I recently received this and it couldn't have come at a better time. I'd recently been involved in an accident and rather than playing, I really, REALLY wanted some back massage instead!

I have tried several oils and creams with this (and a prescription icy-hot type goo) all with excellent results! When using a dimethicone base, I use the soft silicone-type heads. When using water-based, the goo, oil-based massage cream, or anything that might potentially do damage or get sticky, I use the harder head.

Both heads glide effortlessly across the skin! The silicone heads are great for when you'd like additional pressure, as they don't have the hard edges and they contour to your curves. The Thalia has several speeds and a few different functions of pulsation as well, which is a nice change from the wand-type massagers. The handle aspect is also great for self-massage or for long periods of massage when your hand can get tired from holding a wand-style vibe vertically against a prone body.

The Thalia Massager is nearly 7 inches in length and about an inch and 3/4 across. The silicone heads are just slightly wider. Because it's waterproof, I just wash down with antibacterial soap and water. As with all my toys, I store it wrapped in a clean, white cotton "flour sack" type of towel when it's put away - although lately, it's been used often.

My only gripes with this one? Well … when I originally wrote this back in December for another site, I mentioned that it doesn't come pre-charged and it could be waterproof. I'd REALLY love it then! It'd be nice if it worked WHILE plugged in, as well. But now that I've had it a few months, I have one other issue with it. While I love the fact that the heads screw on, after switching the heads a few times (and I do mean a few times, not a lot … maybe 5 or 6 total?), the knobbed head (two bumps) tore on one side right at the thread edge. Most likely, I'm guessing, from the pull/twist to loosen and tighten the interchangeable head piece onto the massager.

I have a feeling that those using it as an intimate massager may have this problem as well, since the damage didn't come while sitting at rest, or while in use. Maybe some replacement heads or attachments that you can purchase separately would be awesome for this toy. Maybe different types of materials, too—although I DO love the silicone for its smooth texture and soft flexibility.
Follow-up commentary
Over time (and recovering from my injury) I still found the vibe to be useful, but once my back became less sensitive, the vibrations didn't seem nearly as strong as they were initially. I also had problems with the other silicone head tearing THE FIRST TIME I put it back on the massager unit and without any extreme pressure, twisting, or tightening. The edges were just far too fragile for the needs of the massager.

The head on the massager also got enough use that the velvety texture started rubbing down and becoming glossy, catching on the skin. It got to the point that I retired it, never having used it as a clitoral massager. Unfortunate, but it was time.

I'm correcting my comment - I should have said because it's water RESISTANT. It'll withstand being run under water, but not submerged.

Owch. Sorry your toy ended up breaking on you! I had this one on my wishlist, but am now reconsidering it. Thanks for the great review!

Thanks for the review! Just wanted to point out that the soft heads are actually made from TPR, not silicone
