Though this is supposed to be a body massager, we all know that is not what most people put it to work as. When used as a sexual implement it exceeds all expectations. For clitoral stimulation it had me shrieking the moment it touched my body, I was so overwhelmed. Using an attachment on it and experiencing penetration with the strong vibrations is amazing as well.

It is loud, and it does require being plugged into an outlet, so it isn't ideal for all situations. You're not going to be using this in the office (unless you work in a very strange office) or when visiting friends (unless they're the sexy fun kind of friends). But, if you're home, and you don't mind if the neighbors hear you screaming this is the toy for you.

The vibrator itself has two speed settings: "high" and "low", though really they should be "high" and "attempt to vibrate my clit off in the most pleasant way". In the instructions manual that comes along in the box it's advised that you don't keep the toy running for more than 25 minutes, because the motor can overheat. For some toys that might be a problem (with normal battery-powered penetrative vibrators I can go for 50-60 minutes sometimes) but with the Hitachi you can get the job done in a fraction of the recommended 25 minute cap.

The wand plus the long cord that it is plugged in with are quite large; it's difficult to hide and most certainly doesn't fit into my bag of toys. So, if you're in danger of being found out by adventurous nosey kids or a thorough cleaning lady you might want to find a pillow case or something to stuff it in before hiding it up high or in the back of a cupboard. Personally, I keep it half sticking out of a bag shoved as far under my bed as I can reach.

Seriously, though, there is nothing else that vibrates like this out there. And! You don't even have to buy batteries.
