Eden toy and body wipes - wipes discontinued by EdenFantasys - review by indiechick

I like get the free wipes with my purchase but the last 2 times they seemed to have changed which is why I decided to review them now. For the first several months the left the toy squeeky clean. Like the kind of clean that makes a that squeeky sound when you rub your hand over it. I like that sound, it makes me feel like I can trust that my toy is clean and ready to be used. Especially for toys that we use internally. It's my little safety sound. But recently I haven't had the squeeky sound. The toy is left suddzy. Like when you come out of the shower and you realize that you missed a spot when you were rinsing the shampoo out. It is possible that more liquid is being put in the packages and that it isn't all being absorbed by the wipes so it is extra cleaner filled, which may not be a good thing.

So now using the wipes has become a two step process which to me nearly defeats the purpose of using them in the first place. I have to wipe down my toy and then I have to rinse it under the sink (which doesn't work for all toys).

Also while I haven't noticed a change in ingredient in the wipes I have had some sensitivity issues with using the toy unless I've really thoroughly rinsed it. Perhaps I am getting more sensitive, but it is worth noting that if you have a sensitivity to perfumes or soaps that you be cautious when choosing any type of toy cleaner.

The packaging is great because it is EDEN. It is small and compact just 10 wipes, I keep mine in some of the larger boxes that toys have come in by my bedside stand. On the front side it says edenfantasys.com The sex shop you can trust and on the flip side it talks about the point system (which since changing, maybe we could put some changes in the packaging). And it lists the ingredients:

Water
Chlorohexidine--> A Chemical Antiseptic
Glycerin
Aloe Extract
Vitamin E
Tea Tree Oil

I have officially stopped using eden wipes. They are to soggy for me. I use soft and gentle babywipes and those work great and are way cheaper, since I switched to free cockrings with orders
