A Man's Eye View II
Read the label, it's for women. While some female toys and creams can translate to male use, this is not one of them, as it does not create a very strong sensation, makes it harder to masturbate if too little is used and is very expensive.Published: September 13, 2011
Pros:
Cool tingle, easy to transport and conceal.
Cons:
Not for men. It's sticky, expensive, small, doesn't improve climax, and numbs the tongue.
Shunga Sweet Gardens is a female orgasm cream and should be used as such. Specifically, it doesn’t work for men. Not that it does not affect them, it produces a cool tingle, but an analysis of the cost to pleasure ratio shows that the price isn’t justified. Considering the size, texture of the gel and the pleasure it produces, it cannot be recommended for men.
Lotion, socks, going bare, the basics of masturbation for men leave a lot to be desired, so any lotion or gel designed to enhance masturbation, even for women should be tried. When used, the cream’s sensation is not unpleasant; it has a cool tingle similar to a cough drop, only for the penis. The gel has a short half-life, however, becoming sticky and increasing the friction, rather than decreasing it, meaning a copious amount will be needed for climax, which is unaffected by the gel.
The size should be noted, as while the picture creates the illusion of a large bottle, it’s only one OZ, or three inches tall. It takes two good sized squirts just in preparation for masturbation; much more will be needed before climax, although it varies by person. With so much needed and such a small bottle, it will likely be depleted after a few uses.
One advantage is an enjoyable mint scent. Unfortunately, that does not mean this can be used in conjunction with oral sex. As a water based gel, it’s safe to ingest small amounts of, but the taste and sensation leaves much to be desired. The gel tastes somewhat bitter and numbs the tongue when used, so be aware if using this with a partner and transitioning from gel enhanced hand stimulation to oral. Also of note, water washes it away quickly, so it's not recommended in the shower, at least not for men.
Being such a small bottle has its advantages. It fits in most any purse, drawer, or backpack making storage and transportation a snap. As “female orgasm” “erotic” are written on the front and "clitoris" on the back, it should be covered if the user wants it to be discrete.
While this is from the male point of view, many of the criticisms apply to female users. The gel will be sticky, especially if left unattended and unless replenished, masturbation will become rougher than if no cream were used at all. Additionally, some women, especially those with less sensitive clitorises may experience the same lack of sensation and/or enhancement during orgasm that men will experience. The bottle says for female orgasm and it should be heeded, for men, this is expensive, sticky, unpleasant to touch and simply not enjoyable, for women, it depends on how often it can be used and how powerful the climax is.
