A over priced babywipe

Overall I feel these are a pretty good product, with a very expensive price tag; making them not worth it if paid for. You can buy high quality baby wipes for a fraction of the cost, in a much larger quantity. Get them now with every order for free, but don't pay full price for them.

extremely useful review
I received these as a free gift with my order. I would not purchase these at their list price. At $.50 a wipe, they are on the expensive side. If you plan on using these in any kind of large quantity, plan on breaking the bank to pay for them. As a free gift, I will take them all day.

The ingredient list is as follows:
water, chlorhexidine, glycerin, aloe extract, vitamin E, tea tree oil.

So its a pretty simply ingredient list. No unneeded ingredients here. I like that in a product. Simply, high quality, and good price. These wipes meet all of those requirements, but the last. (free is a good price, but they wont be an option for the free gift forever) I think these work great. Its nice to have a little pack to throw in your pocket, or purse; and take with you on a date. Or to keep next to the bed on the nightstand or in the drawer. We have always used Costco brand baby wipes, and they have worked great. You get like 1200 in a case, for about $10-$12. Each pack has 100 wipes in it. So you can imagine the size of the pack sitting next to your bed. It has never been a problem for us, as our kids are on the younger side. With younger kids, people expect you to have some kind of wipes laying around the house. And you can go out and buy a smaller travel pack that holds 20 wipes or so. So even though its nice that these eden wipes come in a smaller package, it is not something that is needed. I would love to see these sold in a large pack (50-100), for a more economic price.

I have not had any trouble with these wipes drying out. But we have kept the package closed when not in use. I could see these drying out if left open over night. The package is made pretty well. It should last long enough to use 10 wipes. The sticky pull tab loses most of its stickiness pretty fast, with one or two pulls. So you don't want to play with it, unless you like your wipes drying out.

The wipes smelled great. Just like anything with tea tree oil as an ingredient. Your skin felt great after use. It did not leave your skin feeling sticky or greasy. We have not used them for toy wipes. I like to wash our toys right after use, to help prolong their life spans. So I cant comment on how they work as a toy wipe.
Experience
Like I stated above, I like how these worked. I just do not like the price. I will keep taking them as the free gift with my orders (if I can remember) for as long as they offer them. But when it comes time to pay for them, that's when I draw the line. They are just way over priced.
Follow-up commentary
We still enjoy using these, mostly because they were free with each one of my orders. I still would not pay for these, at least not at the current price tag. The only difference between these wipes and our costco brand baby wipes are the price, smell, size, and ingredients. The size does not bother me. Costco baby wipes are smaller, but still work great. The smell is different between the two, but neither one is bad smelling. And as far as I can tell from the ingredient list of both, neither one has ingredients that worry us. So we are back to price. If eden increased the count of each package, and lowered the price to well below $.50 a wipe; they would have a winning product.

While this is offered as a free gift with each order, I would highly recommend you pick up a pack or two. They are very handy to have around during play time.

I do not see the point of these wipes. I just use a towel, have for years. I would rather use my money on something else.

Thanks for the review! Yeah, I only really use them because they're free. I also feel like having edenfantasys.com on them is a little tacky, maybe? Mostly it just isn't particularly discreet. But they're nice for a free gift, nonetheless

  • Eden Wipes - FYI: date on back of package is made on date, NOT expiration date
    • I just received my first package of these, and was confused at first, at why they sent me wipes that expired in november. However, I looked for threads about this subject, and there already several that state this is the MANUFACTURE DATE. I just wanted to make it easier for everyone to see this information. Also, someone has stated they expire 3 years from the manufacture date. Please feel to verify this information as well.
    • I believe that is the info going around about these. I know there were alot of confused people at first, but I think we got it all figured out. Thank you for confirming it though.

  • Toy/Body wipes good for... lady parts?
    • I was just wondering if these wipes would be good for using on your lady parts as part of your after-fun-times clean up routine?

I'm trying to get better at cleaning myself up afterwards instead of just being lazy. Normally, I'll just get up and wipe with a tissue or toilet paper, but I feel like I could be doing more to clean up.
    • I use the wipes down there quite frequently. I use them after play, when I'm on my period, and whenever I feel the need to. They're really handy.

I do the same and haven't had a problem.

  • Is this ok to use with fleshlight?
    • If I use this on a fleshlight, will it damage it or safe to use?
    • I am curious to this answer as well!
    • I don't have a fleshlight but, I've used this product on many types of toys with no issues. The only thing is that these are a bit expensive for just a few wipes and they are small.

  • Toy wipes vs. wet wipes
    • Are toy wipes safer/preferable to something like a general wet wipe? Can I use wet wipes on my toys without damaging them?
    • Quote: Are toy wipes safer/preferable to something like a general wet wipe? Can I use wet wipes on my toys without damaging them?
I was asking about that in another thread here. See if there's any helpful information there. You might try comparing ingredients on some toy wipes vs. random wet wipes.

      I don't have a definitive answer, though.
    • Definitely depends on the toy, but I think general wet wipes are probably fine for toys that you clean with just soap and water. I used to buy wet wipes at the drug store that were "sensitive skin formula" or "hands and face" or something like that to try and reduce the amount of unsafe chemicals in them, and I'd always look at the ingredients list. But I've used general wet wipes on my hard plastic toys with no problems.

  • UNscented option?
    • I've been looking for a wipe like the Eden toy and body wipes--but I can't stand scents. Please produce an unscented version!
    • Unscented baby wipes? I hardly notice the scent on the eden wipes, though.
    • I agree with Elnoa, I hardly notice the scent at all unless I'm purposely trying to smell for it.

  • Larger pack?
    • I wonder if they will make them in a larger pack soon. The ten pack does not seem like it is enough.
    • I have noticed them in the free gift section.Personally, I would rather have the free shirt!

I wish they would come out with a 20-25 pack

Right now they don't, but if you mention it in the next 'Eden Should Carry...' thread I bet they'd listen! It's a good idea!

      This is a great idea.
