A Real Go-Glitter

I like this powder, for the most part. I'm not especially into glitter, but the body shimmer isn't as sparkly as some glitters I've seen. I will probably wear it for a few occasions, perhaps an upcoming concert.

Use

This is a sassy powder with a sweet taste. The flavor is slightly reminiscent of sweet tarts, but a bit less tangy. The name of the flavor is either "Cotton Candy" or "Punch Drunk Pink". Both titles show up on the packaging. If not used in too much concentration, I could see the Dust Up Kissable Body Shimmer being used as a light powder around the throat. That is, in public anyway.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This is a talc-based powder, so its fine particles are very smooth. It is applied with a soft powder-puff directly on the skin and will remain visible for most of your night. If it appears to fade, you could always use it as an excuse to powder your nose.

Taste / Aroma

The powder has a sweet scent that isn't overbearing. The flavor compliments it. Although, I would not describe it strictly as a cotton candy flavor. This is something I appreciate. I find cotton candy to be so sweet that I can only eat a little before feeling ill. The body shimmer has a light flavor that is still sweet and a delightful scent.

Performance

If not overly disturbed, the powder and glittery finish will remain on the skin for a few hours, at least. The flavor seems to gradually get weaker, possibly being absorbed by the body. When kissed or licked, the body shimmer transfers other surfaces. (ie: If you kiss someone who is wearing the powder, you will be wearing the powder and vice-versa.) This may be a drawback for people who don't care for glitter.

Packaging

The packaging is very attractive. The tough, but professional-looking cardboard is nearly a cube, although taller than wide. Initially, this box was wrapped in plastic, but it came off easily. The white lid portion of the box lifts off of the red bottom portion, revealing a pink plastic sphere. It unscrews in the location of the text, "Dust Up - Booty Parlor." The first time you open the ball, the powder will be sealed in. Remove the powder puff and note the pattern of squares in the center of the plastic surface. There is a clear sticker on these squares, keeping the powder trapped below. A tab is on the side of it, for easy removal. Once this sticker is off, you can put the powder puff back, close up the sphere, and give it a light shake. When you open it, the powder will be on the puff, and you can apply it quickly and easily. I particularly enjoy the art on the white lid portion of the box, which includes flowers, a fairy, candy, a unicorn, and a woman. It's not too cartoon like.

Personal comments

As quoted from the side of the box, "You'll be worshiped, adored, kissed uncontrollably." My beau likes the flavor of this powder, and it doesn't get sticky like I thought it might.

Good review. Interesting product, I have a similar one (Gold Dust) that contains honey. This one has saccharin in it. EEEK!
