A visit to Freud

Reading great labels (in terms of marketing) in the bottle of "Not Soap Radio's" "Liquid Freud" with its specific (as for me, fantastic) scent of clarifying magnolia:

"Liquid Freud (when you need to turn up the volume on your inner voice of reason)."

"When the road to emotional stability seems full of speed bumps and potholes and you're longing for the wisdom of Old Vienna, it's time to earn your own PhD in hydrotherapy."

I decided to check and it was a success!

Use

This gel is, as the name implies, emotional well-being bubbles for bath or shower.
To activate: squeeze a generous dollop into warm running water or lather derectly onto skin. As for me, I think, that this gel is more suitable for the shower than for the bath. I checked it out, having such a good time. I will not say that this gel had on me a kind of special effect psychologically, but can say with confidence that the skin was pleased. Also it has the nice scent of clarifying magnolia.

The product comes in 6 different scents, of which I have the "Liquid Freud" one. I absolutely like it.

As you can see, the gel does contain specific ingridient in its list, so anyone with allergies and sensitivities should be careful.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The gel itself is fairly thick and it's a bit greasy to the touch. Its consistency is like laundry detergent. But despite this it is easily washed off with water and the skin feels clean and fresh.
    • Greasy
    • Slick

Taste / Aroma

I like the aroma of this product. It has parfume or "cream" scent of clarifying magnolia. Gel can be a little overpowering, then it slowly dissipates. The smell lingers on the skin for a little while which some people may or may not like. The gel has a specific, bad taste.
    • Bad taste
    • Perfume(cream)-like
    • Smells good

Performance

As a body wash, this gel does a good job of making my skin clean and refreshed. I only need a couple of pumps to get a good lather to cover my body.

For a bubble bath, I wouldn't recommend using this product as a bath gel because it practically does minimal suds and it is rapidly disappearing. It's not good.

Smell lingers not longer than I’d like. Liquid Freud is neither a masculine or feminine smell, so both sexes can use this.
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Long lasting
    • Needs to be washed off with soap and water

Packaging

The bottle is actually pretty discreet and elegant. It has a description of the product on the back side, there is instruction in English and the list of ingredients.

The ingredients are: Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Deionized Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide MEA, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Glycol Distearate, Methylparaben, Propylene Glycol, Chamomilla recit (Matricaria) Extract, Hypericum perforatum (St. John's Wort) Whole Plant Extract, Yellow 6.

The bottle is square, plastic, transparent and convenient (12.7 fl.oz./360 ml.). You can easily take it with you everywhere you need. The cap is screw-off and rocker-top it's easy to open and use.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Travel friendly

Personal comments

I like this product and recommend to try it for those who are going to buy something original. Maybe this or others variants of Not Sop Radio brand attracts you.

I usually use different gels that I could buy at local shops. Among them are brands such as Nivea, Adidas, Fa, and others. I'm not a fan of gel for bath or shower, so for me, shower gel, it's just a shower gel. But "Liquid Freud" does a better job as a shower gel, I'm still interested in trying other types of "Not Soap Radio's" scents, so when this bottle runs out, I will try a new one.
Follow-up commentary
I still like this product and use it with pleasure. Also I ordered another variant of Bath and shower gel by Not Soap Radio, which is also fully satisfy me.
