The Aphrodite is a wand massager that is designed great for massages and could even make one heck of a clitoral stimulator! This wand massager definitely has the power to work out those deep rooted knotted muscles, but gentle enough to put on our "oh so sensitive" areas. With 3 TPR silicone attachments, you can switch up the style of massage or stimulation! The infrared technology allows you to have a heated massage on the rounded end. To make this massager all the better, its even rechargable! Which means no more battery fumbling when the moment needs to happen now! This massager would be perfect for those that require more clitoral stimulation in order to climax or for those that just want a really nice (but not painfully strong) massage.

The Aphrodite itself is made up of a hard, sturdy plastic. The attachments for the aphrodite are made up of a TPR silicone material. TPR silicone is a silicone based rubber, and is not compatible with silicone lubricants. The texture of the handle and massager are very smooth plastic. The attachments are also very smooth and soft to the touch, and are very flexible. Unlike some of the massagers that carry hard plastic or harder material attachments, these attachments are very "squishy" and are very comfortable.

The wand massager measures 12.75 inches from bottom to the top of the head. The rounded head is roughly the size of a baseball or just slightly smaller than a softball. The attachments are about 2-2.5 inches wide at their base.

The attachments are: smooth, pinpoint and nubby.

The massager weighs 2 pounds, making it heavy, but not so heavy to where it hurts or tires my hand, but it is definitely noticeable. Most of the weight is located within the handle, so it is evenly spread out so that it isn't dragging on your wrists or hands while in use.

This toy is not discreet in the fact that its not very easily hidden. At just over a foot, you'll need a good size area to store it. As far as appearing like a "sex toy", it does not. So no one will be the wiser to what it is used for. I would not say that this massager is at all travel friendly, because of its size. If you have an overnight bag though, I suppose that it could work just fine.

I think that it could stand to be a bit smaller or lighter, but overall I am pretty impressed with its functions, so the size is one of those things that I can compromise on.

This is definitely a neutral type toy as far as "Beginner/Advanced" users go. Anyone would be able to figure out how this works and how to use it quite easily.

On the head portion of the massager, you have two sides.On the one side is the vibration side. There is a small post on this side, that is where you push on your attachments. On the other side of the head of the massager, you have the rounded, black "eye" or "bulb". This is where your heat will come from. All three attachments are removable.


In the middle of the handle, you have the power switch and controls. On one side of the slider you have "Vibration" and on the other side of the slider you have "Heat". When the button is in the bottom position, the vibrations are OFF and the heat is OFF. When the button is pushed to the center, the vibrations are LO and the heat is ON. When positioned at the top, the vibrations are HI and the heat is OFF.

So, this means that you have either HIGH Vibrations and NO heat or you have LOW vibrations and heat. Which doesn't really matter either way, because the heat does not transfer from one side into the massage side of the head. You have to either use it with the heat side OR the vibrating side.


The vibrations on LO are pretty nice, but would work best for me on my clitoris because that cannot take much vibration. For my muscles and massaging though, I would definitely have to use the High setting. The high setting is about twice or three times that of the low setting, In my opinion.

Because this is a rechargeable massager, the power is not going to be as strong as that of a corded massager. This also means that you will have to charge in between uses. Make sure that you take the massager off the charger after its done charging so that you do not fry the massager. If you leave rechargeable items plugged in for too long, regularly, this can damage it and make the "use time" much less each time.

The Aphrodite also comes with a "Flexo-Joint" at the base of the head of the massager. This makes the head of the massager flexible. This is good in some cases, but if you are trying to apply pressure to a certain area to really work out those kinks, the massager may not be able to apply as much pressure as needed because it is bending below the head.

Cleaning is pretty simple with this massager. You can use a baby wipe, body wipe or damp rag or cloth to wipe down the handle and head. Make sure that you do not get any water or moisture into the power/controls area. If you are using the attachments and massager for sexual stimulation, I would suggest using an antibacterial wipe and cleansing foam to make sure that any bacteria is wiped clean.

Storage, that is going to be another issue entirely! With it being just over a foot long, you're going to need a larger storage area. Suppose, maybe, a dresser drawer or night stand drawer would work best? This toy will NOT fit into a Devine Toy Box, EdenFantasys pouch, or Lockable Sex Toy Case. If you have a "Hide A Vibe" pillow, you MIGHT be able to get away with that, but beings I do not have mine anymore, I cannot say for sure.

The Aphrodite is a pretty moderate noise level on low, but nothing too intense. The higher setting is quite a bit louder though. Using this massager without any sort of lubricant is going to be quite a chore. Because the attachments are made of a TPR silicone, they do drag quite a bit on skin. If you are using the infrared heating side, you will be able to glide this effortlessly across skin and clothing. The attachments do collect dust, dirt, lint and pet hair like crazy though! So make sure to clean them off before and after every use.

My only beef with this massager is that the infrared part really doesn't work at all. I felt a very, very slight warmth coming from this massager, but honestly I was still wondering when it was going to heat up after about 15 minutes!
