There are only two settings which are operated by a simple switch: low and high. But really this just means high and higher. This is not a subtle vibrator.

The vibration is unfathomably strong, so if you don't like intense clitoral stimulation this is not your toy! But for the rest of us it is great! If you find the stimulation to be too intense, which is totally understandable, then you can put something between you, like fabric or some sort. The vibrations are so strong that I can easily have a clitoral orgasm through a pair of jeans and underwear. I almost think it's impossible NOT to have an orgasm with this toy. Consider that a challenge. Especially if you are pre-orgrasmic, I would totally recommend the Hitachi as the way to help you out.

Also it is great for achy muscles. I know this might not be top on your list of priorities when searching for a sex toy, but I love that it is multi-functional. It feels great on your back or legs.

As you can see from the pictures, it is a little clumsy and old fashioned looking it. And of course it can be a pain to use since it plugs into the wall, so make sure you have accessible outlets.
