You've heard rumors about the Hitachi Magic Wand and I'm here to tell you they're true. This vibrator truly is magic and I wish I bought it long ago! While this toy was initially designed as a massager for sore muscles, it has a whole new job when you take it to the bedroom (and beyond!).

I've owned many vibrators and have often been disappointed with the lack of power in the vibrations or the challenge of changing the stimulation style while in the act (too many buttons in all the wrong places). Not so with the Magic Wand. There is one button with two speeds: low & high, and with one finger you can easily switch between them or even turn it off. The strength of the vibration is unmatched. Like Superman, it can go faster than a speeding bullet and is more powerful than a locomotive! This is probably because it doesn't run on batteries, but plugs into the wall. The cord is a minor drawback but it is about 6 feet in length and leaves plenty of room to work it into solo or partner play.

Now, what you really want to know is does it get results?!? The definitive answer is Yes! Yes! Yes! It works quickly and gets me to orgasm every time. The instructions say it should not be used for more than 25-30 minutes of continuous use but I haven't had to wait that long to get there. The unit does begin to heat up as you use it, though, so I understand why there is caution about the time.

If you like strong stimulation, you may be able to use it directly on your clitoris but I find it to be a bit much and prefer it through the sheet or some other material. And for those who prefer a more subtle stimulation, this is not the product for you. As for the noise factor, it's about as loud as an old model electric shaver. I wouldn't be able to use it while my partner was sleeping next to me in bed, but it's not so loud to be heard over the noise of a TV or heavy comforter. And, I have to be honest and say with the strength and speed of orgasms I've had with the Magic Wand, I couldn't care less about the minor noise it puts off. For me, it is a worthwhile trade off.

The unit is small enough to travel with and you don't have to worry about it getting accidentally turned on in your bag at the airport. But, it is large enough that the TSA screeners can easily distinguish what it is if they are in the know. It would be nice if it came with a travel bag or some other storage device. I have not found one yet other than the original box it came in. You can travel with it that way though as the box is quite sturdy and has pictures of '80s exercisers on the outside.

The Magic Wand is easy to clean with wipes or under the faucet with soap and water, you just want to be careful of getting water around the cord area so it does not short out on you. Another nice feature are the sleeves you can buy to put on the end of the wand to change your stimulation. This is my go to favorite toy now, I couldn't be happier with the product, and I'm telling everyone I know!
