Perfect For Those High Tech Toys!
I absolutely love this cleaner. I use it on all my toys that range from silicone vibrators to leather harnesses. It also smells incredibly fresh afterwards which makes after sex cleanup a pleasant experience.Published: March 30, 2008
Pros:
This toy cleaner smells like grapes, it doesn't leave residue, and it kills all bacteria.

The bottle raises questions if you leave it out in a bathroom that guests frequent.
I love toy cleaner! Some toys cannot be submerged in water, so washing them with soap and water proves to be insanely difficult. Toy cleaner is a breeze to use; you just spray it on your toy, wipe it off, and rinse!
Before and After Toy Cleaner is the only toy cleaner I use. I own a lot of toys, I won't lie. Most of them I acquired over the years following my 18th birthday, but EF's reviewing program has significantly increased my collection. I take pride in that collection so I don't want to take the chance that one of my toys will be damaged from washing. Before and After is non-abrasive and works with all types of materials including silicones, jellies, plastics, and latex. A good amount of my toys are silicone and in the past I've washed them worrying if the soap will dry them out, I have never had that fear once using while using Before And After.
This toy cleaner is incredibly simple to use. I love spray bottles, especially ones where you don't have to use a lot of pressure. Just a quick push and the nozzle sprays out a good sized amount. My bottle is 8 oz and I've had it for over a year, which is a fabulous indicator that a little goes a long way. Don't be afraid to be a little excessive either, it's incredibly inexpensive compared to other sex toy cleaners out there.
Before and After kills bacteria on contact. Sometimes when washing a toy I can't wash it all and there are places I have to skip, like push button pads or power sliders. With this spray I'm confident that my toys are always clean. They smell fantastic afterwards too! I hate the smell of strong chemicals or alcohol, but this spray smells fresh and fruity. I'll forever associate sex toys with grapes!
A huge convenience if you don't feel like running to the bathroom immediately afterwards, is that you can leave the cleaner and a roll of paper towel in your nightstand for after play cleanup. The directions do say to rinse, so if you don't want to get out of bed right away, you can wait a little while after wiping down your toys to head to the bathroom or kitchen sink to finish the job.
I'm a clean freak with high tech sex toys so this toy cleaner is an incredible substitute to plain old soap and water!

There are currently six reviews from contributor's here on EF who have all given this product a 5 star rating. It goes to show how awesome this product really is! Compared to others on the site, the price to volume ratio is really a bargain. Plus, it smells great and keeps your toys clean and feeling fresh. Clean up is an absolute snap with this spray! The fact that it's compatible with all types of sex toy materials makes it an even sweeter buy.

What does before & after do.. before you use it?

Is it both a lubricant and a sanitizer? how does that work?

It is not a lubricant but merely cleans the toys. When the toy is sitting around, it gathers fungal spores, dust, and bacteria.

Before you use it it sits there and looks pretty :P
In theory you're supposed to use it before you use your toys and then after you use your toys to ensure optimal cleanness. At least according to the bottle.

Before & After Toy Cleaner...

This one got lots of great reviews, but I've got a couple of questions for all you reviewers who use this. The description says you have to "spray, wipe, then rinse" but most of the reviews say no rinsing required. Can you guys confirm there's no residue if you don't rinse? One review mentioned it didn't clean the crevices of textured toys well. Anyone else have that experience? Would you say it replaces the soap & water routine completely?

Nah, it doesn't replace soap and water, in my opinion. It may be because I've used soap and water for so long, but I just don't see the benefit to spraying something and then wiping it off. I find the cleaner hard to wipe off on toys w/ texture, and maybe I'm nuts, but then I don't feel like a toy is really clean. It would do in a pinch, but I don't mind soap and water so that's what I go for 90% of the time.

Liz, I'm right there with you. It smells great and it's far superior to other cleaners--- it's also great to use on high tech and silicone toys. It's a keeper.
