Before and After Toy Cleaner is truly an effective and convenient way to keep your toys clean and fresh, without having to worry about rinsing them off or washing them in the sink.

Finally, what I have desired for many years--an antibacterial toy cleaner that does not require rinsing and is not just effectively “soap in a spray bottle.” The directions on the bottle are “1. Spray on…2. Wipe off…3. Have fun!”, and this is truly all the effort this product requires.
I have made it a habit to clean all my toys (except those made of wood--just a personal decision of mine) with Before and After before play. It removes dust, lint and pet hair like a charm! Just make sure you give the product time to dry before using the toy--Before and After is NOT a lube! That said, I have experienced no irritation from this product whatsoever.
Before and After also works wonderfully, well, AFTER play! It removes lube and bodily fluids quite effectively, and is much more convenient than a trip to the sink. It is also handy for use on breakable toys or toys that can be chipped by dropping them on a sink or tile floor, like glass.
This product has a fresh, clean, pleasant smell, not at all harsh or astringent. I had to try it to believe it, but it also is incredibly effective in removing the (often unpleasant) scent from new toys, especially those made of jelly.
I purchased the smaller bottle of this product in order to test it out to see if it was really as good as people claim; I will definitely get the larger bottle when my current one runs out! However, despite frequent use, my bottle is lasting very well, and only a small amount has been used. The product seems to cover and coat well, so not a lot is really needed to get your toys clean.
I definitely recommend Before and After Toy cleaner if you are concerned with getting rid of “new toy smell,” dropping and damaging your toys on a sink or tile floor, or even if you are lazy and just want to clean your toys without leaving the bed. This is one product that truly does what it says, and my “old fashioned,” rinse-off toy cleaner will no longer be in use after trying this product!

RedHotHippieChickThis one got lots of great reviews, but I've got a couple of questions for all you reviewers who use this. The description says you have to "spray, wipe, then rinse" but most of the reviews say no rinsing required. Can you guys confirm there's no residue if you don't rinse? One review mentioned it didn't clean the crevices of textured toys well. Anyone else have that experience? Would you say it replaces the soap & water routine completely? -
EpiphoraNah, it doesn't replace soap and water, in my opinion. It may be because I've used soap and water for so long, but I just don't see the benefit to spraying something and then wiping it off. I find the cleaner hard to wipe off on toys w/ texture, and maybe I'm nuts, but then I don't feel like a toy is really clean. It would do in a pinch, but I don't mind soap and water so that's what I go for 90% of the time. -

I use this one on pretty much all my toys and I love it. I've never had any irritation with it either which is a big plus. It also cleans the bathroom mirror quite nicely.

I definitely know what you mean about it lasting really well too. I've had my bottle a couple weeks and use it every time I use a toy, and I can barely tell that I've used any out of the bottle! This stuff really does wonders!

Does it smell like grape, as others have noted? I'm a bit afraid of grape smell. I'm also slightly apprehensive about something that is for spraying and wiping off. I guess it's too easy for me... I feel better about thoroughly fondling my toys over the sink, haha.
Epiphora - I didn't associate the scent with grape, but then again, I don't have the best sinuses in the world. It just smelled fresh and clean. I can understand prefering to wash your toys in the sink; there is a certain satisfaction to it. This product, however, comes particularly in handy when a toy is not waterproof.
My cleaner doesn't smell like grape either. And I HATE any fake grape smelling products.
Heh, fake-smelling grape always reminds me of the old perfume Poison! :)
Wow, sounds like a great product. I might have to pick some up. The only toy cleaner I have ever used was from a local sex toy shop and it had to be washed off as well. This sounds like a much better application. Thanks for the great review!

Ouch is right! I can only imagine! This stuff is awesome, and I use it almost every time I play now! Old cleaners I used to use had to be washed off, and I never really saw the point...
