Body finger paints - glow review

I was expecting a brighter glow from these, and while it didn't work as well as I wanted it to, I still had fun. I would recommend these to someone who wants some variety at a low cost, as the samples are great and there are four colors of paint.

extremely useful review
I have never tried body paints|Paints, dusts, powders before, so I was quite excited when the glow-in-the-dark Fantasy Body Finger Paints|Body finger paints - Glow in the dark arrived in the mail. It sounded so delightful from the product description. It glows it the dark, it is edible, and it comes with two free samples!

On the back of the package I discovered a little message, “inedible: not for human consumption” What? Isn’t this supposed to be edible? I jumped online and looked up the samples that came with the body paints. Liquid Love Cooling massage gel in Blue Raspberry was listed as edible as was the Chocolate Fantasy Body Frosting in Red Raspberry. Ok…the samples are edible; the actual body paint is NOT.

It was a little difficult getting the seals off of the little tubs. I noticed that the paint is the consistency of hair gel instead of paint. I dipped my finger in the little tub of green paint and proceeded to paint my husband’s nipples. I turned the lights out, and couldn’t find him! I couldn’t see the paint at all! Dismayed, I thought perhaps it hadn’t gotten enough light, so I flipped the lights on for a couple minutes, then off again. Still nothing happened. I was determined to get the paint to glow, so I held the little tub of paint an inch from the ceiling light for about a minute. This time I let my husband apply some on me. He gooped it onto my breasts and I ran to turn the light off again. Nothing happened at first, but after about a minute I noticed a faint glow. It did get stronger as a little time went by, and it does glow better the thicker it is applied.

Be warned, that this stuff is messy, as it doesn’t dry. More than anything the gel is shimmery and glitters nicely, so if you rub it on just to look pretty with the lights on, it works better than trying to goop it on thick enough to get it to glow.

Clean up is easy. They wipe off easy with a baby wipe, or you can simply rub it into your skin. When you rub it in it disappears completely; no trace is left behind. As a safety note, these paints are oil based. It might seem like a good idea to paint up your lovers cock then hop on for a ride; well it’s not a good idea, so don’t. Oil is not something you should put in your vagina.

The best part of these is the free samples. The chocolate body topping was delicious, and the blue raspberry cooling gel worked VERY well! My husband rubbed some just above my clitoral region on my pubic bone. I didn’t feel anything when he rubbed it, but when he blew on it I felt like someone had dumped a glass of ice water on me! The samples were both delightful, but overall I was disappointed with the finger paints.
Follow-up commentary
I thought I would use these paints again, but honestly I haven't worked up the courage to deal with the mess again. They sit on the bottom of my toy box, and they will probably get thrown away. I would change my star rating to 1 out of 5 if I could. I originally thought they were disappointing, but still fun. I was surprised with myself that I can't bring myself to use them again. They just don't work well enough, and tend to smear when touched lending some icky moments during sex. I like my sex crazy wild and messy, but not THAT type of messy. I really wouldn't recommend these paints to anyone, and will end up throwing mine away as they only waste space.

Haha, better samples than the product itself. I'm not surprised!

Sad isn't it.  I am thankful that these were cheap, although I may have to buy a full size of the chocolate body topping when my sample is fully out.

My experience with body paints has usually been pretty disappointing as well.  None of them really seem to provide proper paint-like coverage, but get the gel-like consistency you mentioned when applied.  Good review!
