When I first saw the size and price of this candle I thought it must be a mistake. What I didn't catch onto right away was everything that this candle does. Not only is it a lovely smelling candle, it is also a body massage oil once it is melted.

It comes in a nice box that is perfect for gift giving. The candle itself comes in three fragrances: Fig Wood (listed as Fig Leaf), Patchouli/Rose, and Amer Amore. I got the Fig Wood, a fresh outdoor smell like being in a forest on a warm day. Very appealing but not overwhelming. The candle comes in a pink silicone holder that is elongated on one end to pour the oil once the candle is lit for a short while to release the massage oils. The candle has a burn time of 10 hours.

You can tell by looking at the ingredients that this candle will only get better once the oils are released. Ingredients: Palm wax, Soy oil/wax, Beeswax, Coconut oil/wax, Shea Butter, Jojoba oil, Aloe Vera, Vitamin E oil, and Fragrance. It releases 1.75 fluid ounces of massage oils.

There are basic instruction included which I wouldn't normally get into except it helps explain how this candle works so I will include the basics: 1)Light candle and let burn to form a melt pool 2) Extinguish flame and drizzle warm oil onto the body, the wax immediately cools to a perfect, body-ready temperature. 3) Massage directly into skin. Use sparingly. 4) Keep wick trimmed to 1/4" to prevent smoking and soot build up. Thats it! Easy and perfect for body massages.

When you use this to give a massage refer to instruction #3 Use sparingly, this is very true as I learned out the hard way. A little bit goes a long way. It is a very soft oil that leaves skin feeling fantastically soft after use. The whole process of using this candle and pouring the oil to give your lover a massage is very sensual and definately worth the purchase. I can't wait to get the other scents and try them as well.
