Burning Down the House
The solitary star that this candle earned is a reward for its function as...just a candle. It has a strong, sensual aroma, rather than an overly sweet, medicinal smell. However, as a massage candle, this one is a massive failure.Published: July 28, 2011
Pros:
Musky, sensual aroma. Candlelight.
Cons:
Unattractive packaging, difficult to pour, waxy residue, unacceptable massage oil.
Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
This candle has seen its last days as a massage oil, but it's doing a half decent job of making my bathroom smell nice when it's lit. Unfortunately, since it's made of such a soft wax, it is wearing down very very quickly. I have candles of a similar size that have lasted me years! This one's about on its last leg after only a few months.

Massage Candles-Pheromone Properties?
-
Many of these candles claim to have the pheromone "benefits", Yet I have not been successful in finding a candle that does any of that. Has anyone else ran into that same issue? Does anyone have a candle they would highly recommend for this purpose?
