The Satin Sugar Hair and Body Powder by Cake, is a dry shampoo, which is meant to refresh your hair and body. This is an excellent product to have on hand, especially if you're someone who's always on the go. Toss this product in your purse or travel bag, and not have to worry about washing your hair daily. On a road trip and not able to shower as often as you like? That's okay, this product works wonders at keeping you fresh. With this product, it absorbs excess oil, and leaves your skin, and/or hair smelling yummy.

The icing on the cake? This multi-tasking marvel is a time saver, so hit the gym, fill up that socialista schedule and go ahead and hit snooze!

Pouring the powder out of the bottle, it looks similar to baby powder or corn starch. It's a creamy white color, that is thin and somewhat translucent in texture. Dipping my fingers in the powder, it feels soft, and velvety, and glides on the skin easily. There's no greasy feeling or residue, and removes any and all body shine when applied. It doesn't leave the skin sticky, oily, or greasy, and actually leaves the skin smelling shower fresh.

The product pours out of the container with little easy, and absorbs into the skin with little to no effort at all. Using this product on the scalp, takes a little bit of rubbing it into the skin for it to properly absorb the oil. Just rub a little powder in your hands and fingers, and brush it through the strands, and massage into your scalp.

All of Cake products smell yummy enough to eat. Pouring the velvety powder onto the skin, creates a sweet smelling aroma, similar to baked goods. It reminds me of the holiday season, with my mom baking for hours in the kitchen. It's got a hint of a cake smell, almost vanilla scented, with a clean citrus hint.

Pouring the powder on the skin, or in the hair, it's a light fragrance that isn't overpowering. You can easily put this on your body, and in your hair, and use your regular perfume along with it.

There is absolutely no taste to this product, so you could easily lick someones skin after them putting it on. Even though there's no taste, I wouldn't recommend eating the product, as it's not meant to be food!

I purchase this item with my grandmother in mind. She's someone who spends so much time curling her hair, that she only washes it once or twice a week. I bought this product thinking about her, yet tested it out on myself first. The product I purchased was for light hair, yet I have dark brown hair. This product still worked well on me, even though I have dark hair. With that said, it took a little extra time to rub it into my scalp, as I didn't want the powder to show.

Since this product worked so well, I will be purchasing the product for darker hues. I have to straighten my hair, so I don't always feel like washing it daily, and this product is the best dry shampoo I've tried to date. The smell is light in fragrance, and works well on both hair as well as the body. This is yet another excellent product from Cake Beauty, and it's worth every penny!

The Satin Sugar Hair & Body Refreshing Powder by Cake, comes in a plastic recyclable bottle. The bottle is 4" high, and roughly 2" thick. The main bottle is white in color, and has a paper label that is light brown, pink, and white in color. The "Cake" logo is at the top, and the writing is mainly in white. The back of the packaging contains the full directions of the product, as well as the company information.

The product is made in Canada, and the company is located in Toronto, ON.

For extra protection while travelling, Eden Fantasys wrapped the Cake products in a clear plastic bag, that was tied. This added extra protection for the long journey, just in case anything leaked. The packaging however, was well made, and it never leaked. The bottle is well made, that you can easily toss it into your purse or travel bag, and it doesn't take up much room, nor is it heavy.

There really isn't any special feature to this product, except the fact that they are animal and earth friendly. The packaging is fully recyclable, and super cute.
