Cleans Well and Smells Fantastic
I really can't recommend this product enough. As long as I'm able to get my hands on this excellent and fantastic smelling cleaner, I'll continue to clean my toys with it.Published: December 21, 2009

Until ordering the Climax Bursts Toy Cleaner, I had been using simple anti-bacterial hand soap (Equate) to clean my toys. There's nothing wrong with the soap, but I was interested in using a cleaner that was created specifically for sex toys. I immediately liked the look of the bottle, especially the dome-shaped pop-up top. I also like other cleaning products with microbeads and I'd read nothing but good reviews so I thought I'd get a bottle.
When I took off the safety seal on the bottle I did what everybody does: I sniffed the contents. I was very pleasantly surprised by the lovely clean fragrance it has. It smells like something I'd wash my body with! It's a thick gel that is easily dispensed through the pop-top. It lathers very well and I can easily clean two sizable toys with just a small dollop. I actually use more of the hand soap when cleaning my toys than with this cleaner. It's water-based and rinses off easily and leaves no residue behind. My toys and hands smell so wonderfully fresh and clean afterward and it eventually fades away.
There was one moment where I went to pop up the top and the dome came off completely! Thankfully it popped back on with relative ease. Sometimes the top requires a bit more of a pull to get it to open, but it's nothing that requires a lot of hand strength. If for any reason you do not like the dispenser top, then just unscrew the cap and ooze out a bit into your hands or onto your toy(s).
I love this cleaner a lot and I plan to always have some on hand. Since the hand soap is used by everyone in my family (we have individual bottles that we refill), it's nice to have a cleaner for my toys that no one else will use.

I've used this cleaner exclusively since I reviewed it in December of last year. I bought another bottle in the past year and I still have plenty of it left. And I use the cleaner a lot. Simply the best cleaner I've ever used.

The only cleaner I've ever used that was made specifically for toys was WET brand's Keep It Clean. I still use it and swear by it, you can read my review on it. It cleans thoroughly, does not leave residue, rinses clean, smells awesome, and it's a foaming cleanser which makes the bottle last forever and provides a more thorough clean on anything that has a texture to it. I have the Butterfly Kiss and the butterfly part has wings, antennae, and several lines etched along his belly. Keep It Clean gets in there just fine. On a side note, I was cleaning him the other day and his wing slipped from between my fingers and flicked soapy water in my eye, haha. So I can also say that Keep It Clean will not burn your eyes, at least not from a small amount.

some of the products in this line don't.. burst very well. Was this something you noticed?
Yes, actually. I didn't notice any bursting of the little beads but it could be so subtle I don't pick up on it. Even if they don't burst, I don't see it as a negative. It still cleans really well.

I always keep at least one extra bottle for back up, just in case it goes out of stock. LOL As far as the "Bursting" I find that some materials, like glass, will burst the balls better than other materials. The good part is the Triclosan is in the "gel" not the balls.
