Colors your water, not your skin!

It's a cheap and easy way to treat yourself to some relaxation. Just add a little into the tub water and relax. It doesn't require any scrubbing to remove because it doesn't stain or stick around long. The smell will cling lightly to your skin but won't make you smell like you've bathed in a bottle of perfume. All in all it's just a simple way to relax. No batteries, no mess... Just peaceful relaxing bliss.

Use

The blue lotus bath oil is a nice relaxing treatment. The smell is light, and the blue coloring only stained my skin for a little while when I removed the foil seal. (It only seems to stain your skin if you touch the oil without diluting it in water.) This treatment is great for anyone who needs some help relaxing after a stressful day. The light aroma and pretty blue color just naturally ease your senses and body. I don't recommend this for anyone who might be allergic to certain smells or with a super sensitive sense of smell as the scent may cause irritation.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

It's pretty runny and thin so it pours really easy. So easy, in fact, that if you aren't careful, your water will be navy blue in an instant. It doesn't seem to effect the skin in anyway like lotion or lube would and it doesn't change the feeling of the bath water, so it's really hard to describe it texture-wise. I can't touch the oil directly without looking like a Smurf afterwards, so I'm honestly not sure how else to describe it other than super runny and easy to pour.

Taste / Aroma

The scent is light and pleasing. It doesn't cling too much to your skin so if you wish to use it before going out, you could probably do so and still be able to wear your favorite fragrance without a clash of scents. I had to stick my nose tight against my flesh to be able to smell any left over scent on my skin because its so faint.

    • Smells good

Performance

There really isn't much to be said performance-wise. It doesn't stain the tub or your skin. The only time it stains is when you touch the substance in its pure form or if it gets stuck in any dirt in the tub. It will come off with a simple wash or two. It relaxes you and smells pretty. The product description is spot on about its performance.

Packaging

It comes in a plastic bottle with a cap that has a pour spout on it. (The kind where you push down on one side of the lid to pop out the spout.) When it arrived, the bottle was in a plastic bag inside the box. It didn't leak during shipment because of the foil seal on it, but it did leak a little when I had to transport the bottle home from a friend's house after I'd opened and used it. If you have to travel with it after you've opened it, either put some in a travel-friendly bottle or put the original bottle in another plastic bag or else your luggage might get stained. Also, the ingredients are listed on the bottle, in case anyone has any concerns about that.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Leaky container

Special Features

It had a light scent and is available in other scents, not just the blue lotus. (Scents include blue lotus, goji berry, acai, pomegranate, and a couple others.) It doesn't warm or cool, doesn't seem to moisturize... Just lightly perfumes your skin and turns the water colors. It's pretty basic.

Experience

The bottle says it's an aphrodesiac, but I didn't seem to experience any increase in arousal after using it. I was more relaxed, but not horny. I may not have used enough to have it work like that, it might not have been the right scent to turn me on, or it just might not work like that... I'm really not sure. (I might also just not be the kind of person who gets turned on by smells, so don't let my lack of arousal from it turn you off from trying to get turned on with it.)
