Coochy protection has now become a must-have for me. And I'm left wondering, "Why haven't I tried this before?" If you frequently deal with ingrown hairs or irritation post shaving, this is a must-have!

Use

Coochy protection spray, WHERE have you been all my adult life?

This is an excellent addition (and for me, now mandatory) for anyone's shaving routine. This water based formula creates a barrier between your skin and clothes to help prevent chafing. I've also noticed it drastically decreases any post-shaving itching that I was so accustomed to getting.

Go about your shaving routine as you normally would, and after drying off spray on a thin layer. Rub it in or let it absorb on its own; it's personal choice!

I have also taken to using this on my legs after shaving!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Coochy protection is a water based product, so it's thin in nature. Over-spraying at close proximity would lead to dripping or splash back. But hey, this is a mist. Go lightly, a little goes a long way!

Taste / Aroma

The scent is the ONLY issue I have with this product. I was sorely disappointed after reading previous reviews. I thought the scent would at least be somewhat pleasant. Honestly, all I can really smell is a combination of licorice, lavender and alcohol. I hate licorice, so for me the smell isn't that pleasant. The aroma does tend to linger for a period of time.

I'm sure it has some flavor, but since this really isn't intended for consumption, we haven't performed oral shortly after use.

From the ingredients list:

Water, Glycerin, Butylene glycol, Propylene glycol, Lavender extract, Cucumber extract, Camellia, Matricaria, Licorice, Echinacea extract, Wheat germ extract, Raspberry, Epilobum angustifolium flower, Lilium Candidum bulb, sage, clover, Oat extract, Dipotassium glycyrrhizate, Lavender oil, Benzyl Alcohol, Polyquaternium-10, potassium sorbstat, Disodium EDTA.

Performance

I have not washed this off. Upon getting out of the shower and drying off, I lightly spray my legs and/or vaginal area. Typically I just hang around for a few minutes while it dries, but I don't see the harm in rubbing it in if you want to speed up the process.

Coochy protection leaves a soothing feeling, unless of course you've nicked yourself. Then it WILL burn for a few moments, but in my experience it wasn't enough to deter me from future use.

I use to hate shaving (Ok, I still kind of do), not only because of the work involved, but the dreaded after shave itch. I can happily say since using coochy protection, I have not had any after shave itch. Hands down, this is going to be a staple in my bathroom!

This isn't like, it's LOVE. I'm still not crazy about the scent. But to avoid itching and discomfort post shaving, I'll TAKE it!

I really need to try this stuff as just shaving lotion. I have terrible dry winter skin and just forgo the shaving or risk ugly dermatitis. Sounds like this might help with that!

I need to get this. My boyfriend gets a kick out of watching me squirm and itch myself for hours after shaving. Im worried about the burn but this looks worth it.
