Acuvibe mini - massager discontinued by Interactive Health - review by lovelyx

I have a lot to say about the Acuvibe Mini. There are so many things I had hoped for and wished for with this toy but no matter how many times I tried it, over and over again, it did not meet my expectations.

First of all, I'd like to at least start with some positives about it because despite the flaws, it could have been great. I find that it is really light-weight and I guess you could say easy on one arm. For example, with my Hitachi; my arm would be sore after only a minute because of how heavy it is. But with the Acuvibe Mini, I found it felt more like a heavier vibrator, but not so heavy that it felt like a ton of bricks. Also, the color is very adorable; very easy on the eyes.

Well... unfortunately, there are a few negatives to this toy as well. Despite it being light weight and its appealing design, the Acuvibe Mini falls short to my expectations because of a few factors. This toy only has one setting on it, which is basically really high, buzzy, vibrations.

Although it happens to be rechargeable; which I liked about it, because I didn't have to be paranoid of getting electrocuted, it is not waterproof. Though I didn't expect it to be, it would be nice if it was.

The really unfortunate thing about this toy is the fact that it doesn't have a different range of vibrations, let alone two at the least. With only one vibration I find it is too strong to start using. You would have to use it after using a milder clitoral vibrator for awhile, then pull this vibrator out right before you climax.

It is quieter than my Hitachi which I appreciate, but not by much. Still sort of a loud buzzy noise to it.

I really REALLY wanted to like the Acuvibe Mini but I couldn't because of its lack of variety. Something I also found irritating was that the head of the toy was smooth, which at first I was delighted with until i realized there were seams on it so I had to make sure I only used the smooth side which was a little annoying. But, of course you can't expect a toy to be completely seamless. Maybe this could work better for someone else, but it certainly did not work at all for me.
