Romantic candle - mist by Kingman - review by missmandy27

Upon opening the box I expected the candle to be a little bigger than what it was, but I didn't start to judge it based on size. Its contents are held by glass and comes with a tin screw cap, which is very convenient if you're traveling with the candle. Instead of a normal wax candle the consistency is that of small purple wax beads. I suggest opening the jar over a table or sink. the beads seemed to have spread everywhere during the shipping and was very uneven in the jar. To correct this I just brushed off the excess that was on the rim of the jar, then I centered the wick and smoothed my finger around to get the beads level. The beads will melt upon lighting.

The scent is called Champagne Rain and it smells quite lovely. It kind of smells like flowers after a good rain fall. It makes you open your eyes but at the same time not overpowering. Although, when you light it, the scent doesn't seem to fill the room. It's a nice little boost of freshness to a small room that needs it, but I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for something that will give off an aroma throughout your entire house. Also, it contains pheromones that are supposed to enhance a romantic and relaxing mood. I'm not quite sure if that's what it made us feel, but I think any dark room lit by a candle is kind of romantic in and of itself.

My boyfriend likes to use candles and I like to collect them. He uses them to get rid of the dirty gym smell when he can't get the laundry done before the week is over and to liven up the room a bit. I don't seem to use candles very much any more so I just leave them with him to use. And they're great for getting rid of that balls and sweat smell after some dirty sex. I think we'll use this candle until it's gone, but I'm not sure if we'll order another one like it. Maybe it will grown on us before all the wax leaves the jar.
