Romance and creativity is pretty much up my alley. My husband, not so much. However, when used properly, and in the right setting, these rose petals can really add to the mood and help to guide your love making and passionate experiences to a new level! I know, sounds like a bit much right? Well, some ladies or men really need to be romanced and adding these petals to the picture shows that you're trying and you're putting in that extra effort to let us know that you care enough to do so.

The Rose Petal Explosion kit comes with 100 polyester rose petals. They are decent in quality. They aren't chincy cheap, but I have seen better sets. They come in a nice, elegant box. I would recommend that you keep these in another type of sturdier box or maybe even a zip lock baggie. If you choose to go with the baggie, I would recommend that you make sure there is plenty of air inside the bag to "poof" it outwards so that the petals do not become squished or smooshed.

I did have a problem the first time around with these petals. Because they come "together", you have to peel each one of them apart from each other, which can be quite time consuming and a big pain. Depending on how and when you plan to use them, make sure you allow yourself some time to do this. Once you pull them apart, throw them into the baggie (as mentioned in this review above) and shake them around inside of it. This will help to "fluff" the petals a bit.

The instructions do say that you can wash these, but I have yet to have to do this. This may help to soften or fluff them as well. Also, they will "fray" or start to shed with handling. These petals are scented, but its nothing that will have you gagging from the potency of the scent, which is nice, because the last box of petals I had were awfully perfumed and were hard to "work with".

Hubby used these to set a romantic setting in the bedroom. I came home one day, seen that the lights were dimmed down. He had made a rose petal trail to the bedroom (which wasn't far). I opened the door to the bedroom and there were candles lit around the sides of the bed stands and some petals to accent the candles on the stand. This was a great surprise for me! (Seems that I didn't think he had it in him). This would make a great accent to a Valentines Day surprise or any other day for that matter.

Purchase these and maybe leave them laying around for hubby or your sig other to find. They might just surprise you! We have used these numerous times since we purchased them and they have held up pretty well. The scent is now gone from them, but this can be a bonus for those of you that would like to spritz them with your own perfume or maybe a favorite scented room fragrance.
