Greeting card lip balm by Not Soap Radio - review by ToyGurl

This product, overall, makes a cute gift. The lip balm inside is not going to wow anyone, but I think the sentimental value of having a lip balm tub that says "You're the BEST MOM in the world!" is good enough. I wouldn't give it as the only gift, but give it along with another gift and it completes the package.

The label was my main worry. I got two of these so I could try the product, and give the other to my mother. I know she carries everything in her purse, and I thought "Oh crap. I'll bet the label is cheap and it will wear away within two days or so". Well... I was totally wrong. The label is high quality and even after getting it wet, it still looks nice! It's pretty waterproof! It says "You're the best mom in the world!" and my mother just loved getting it as a pre-Christmas gift along with some flowers.

The balm itself really sucked. She likes it, but she's not a lip balm user so she didn't complain. As for me, I am very picky. I need some good moisturizing balm, and that's not really what I got. Both of our flavors/scents were different too. Mine was like a plain orange (I'm guessing) flavor. It was citrus-like. Hers was definitely a strawberry flavor.

They don't smell amazing, and by that I don't mean they smell bad. They just don't have enough smell to the point where you'll notice. You'd have to set your nose against someone's lips to get a whiff. The taste is light, but in this case that's good. The flavors weren't all that great so it's better not to really taste them at all!

The tub comes inside of a Not Soap Radio box that has a hole so you can see your lip balm tub inside. It was a cute box and added a classy touch to the tub. The tub is cute, but only because of the label. The rest is plain as it is made of plain plastic... making it look very cheap. So thank God for that cute label and box!
