Rose petal soap flakes - sensual kit by Cal Exotics - review by mama2007

The use of this product is for a sensual bath as it is rose petals that turn into soap in warm water. I am using these for our jacuzzi bath for our anniversary, so I will be more than happy to do a follow up review later on it. The best occasions for these are an anniversary, Valentine's Day, or whenever you would like to use them. The product would work for anyone who wants to put them in tub water.

I am not aware of any allergy concerns, but the tag on this item when received says the following: "Warning- For external use only. Avoid getting into eyes. If this happens, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if irritation and redness occurs. Keep away from fire or flame and store in a cool place."

Rose Petal Soap Flakes by California Exotic are scented rose shaped soap flakes for the bath, and are a good way to say I love you to your significant other to get him or her in the mood. Put them in with running water or you will probably end up with rose scented bubble bath.

The rose petals, when looking at them online, look very smooth/soft, but are very firm when they are dry. They are about the same size as a large size rose petal. If you place them under water, they will melt away in minutes. They are a sure mood enhancer, as that is what I will be using them for on our anniversary evening getaway. They do not feel sticky or greasy.

The rose petals are scented and to me they remind me of the smell of roses. I love the smell of them and hope that they work well for what I got them for. They do not have a taste as they are not edible.

The rose petals last about a minute or two until they melt into bubbles in the warm water. If you turn the water off, the bubbles go away pretty quickly, so if you're looking for longer lasting bubbles, this product may not be what you're looking for, but it leaves a very wonderful smell in the tub. I like how the petals are rose scented, but I don't like that the product online looks pretty big in portion and when I received it, the container it comes in is tiny, unlike what I thought it would be, but the petals themselves are a good size.

The rose petals came in a very cute but SMALL heart shaped plastic container with a cute white ribbon and a tag with the ingredients/warning/short instruction information. I had gotten a few other items with my order, so the box it came in was a nice sized package. The container the petals are in would be great for travel.

It is a mood enhancer as it has a romantic scent of roses.

I personally would not buy this product again, even though I used my points and a gift card I earned to get it, because of how small it is. It probably would only be enough for one bath depending on how many rose petals you want or need to use. If you don't want to use many, then it would last a 2nd time with unused petals you have left over. It is worth the price of $9.99 if you want a sensual, rose scented romantic bath with yourself or with your significant other.

I am using this product for our anniversary so I only used a couple petals to try it out, but what stood out to me was the smell and the bubbles it left before I turned the water off. I can't wait to use this for my husband as a suprise along with other things too.
