Intimate caress shave cream - shaving foam by Kama Sutra - review by Kate

I used Kama Sutra's Intimate Caress Shave Cream to shave my legs, underarms and bikini area. It says that it's safe for use anywhere on the body and I didn't experience any type of reaction from it even though I have pretty sensitive skin when it comes to using scented products. You only need a little bit at a time and the pump dispenser releases small amounts at a time so you can work your way up to the amount you want to use.

This shave cream was quite different from the last one I reviewed (Wet's Inttimo Forbidden Fruit) because it was much thinner. Instead of being the consistency of hair conditioner it was almost more like a thinner hand lotion. It's thin, white, easy to apply and feels nice and slick when you've put it on the area you plan to shave.

The coconut pineapple is amazing and that's why I titled my review "Dessert In A Bottle". It smells like a pina colada! The smell isn't overpowering but it isn't light either, it smells delicious! I also tried the pomegranate and didn't like that one nearly as much as the coconut pineapple. The pomegranate smells nice but I was expecting it to smell fruity and it didn't. It wasn't a bad smell, it just smelled like floral perfume and again it wasn't overpowering but this one was a lighter smell. I haven't tried the honey suckle one because I've smelled Kama Sutra's honey suckle scent before with their other products and don't care for it. If you want a noticeable yummy scent stick with coconut pineapple, if you want something light and floral, try the pomegranate! This shave cream is not flavored, not edible and not safe to consume so as good as it may smell, try your best not to eat it!

The shave with this cream lasted a few days for me before I started seeing stubble. I did have some razor burn after and I didn't with the last shave cream I reviewed. Whether or not this was because of the shave cream or not I don't know but I doubt it because the scent didn't irritate me and that's a big plus for me. As I mentioned, it pumps out a small amount at a time and it is thinner than other shave creams so you can work your way up to what you need without dispensing too much. It doesn't lather up at all like shaving foams do, it just coats your skin with a thin layer of cream and it stays in place without dripping!

Kama Sutra's Intimate Caress Shave Cream comes in a really pretty plastic bottle with a nice label and pump dispenser. When I first got my bottles they had a stopper underneath the pump to prevent it from leaking. It was a simple plastic clip to keep the pump nozzle from being pressed down and dispensing cream. You can keep it if you plan on traveling with this but I just tossed it! Kama Sutra didn't leave anything out when they made labels for this product because all of the information you need is on the back. It's hypo-allergenic and will leave your skin feeling moisturized, the ingredients are all listed on the label as:

This shave cream is hypo-allergenic and moisturizes the skin. I didn't notice that it left my skin much softer than before I shaved but as I mentioned, the scent didn't irritate my skin like other scented products have. Although the pineapple coconut cream smell was powerful, it wasn't very noticeable at all after it was rinsed off and the pomegranate scent was unnoticeable.

Since I have previously used shave creams that appeared similar to hair conditioner on my hair I tried the same with this one. It didn't go so well. I have waist length hair so it would've taken way too many pumps but what I did use, left my hair smelling like tropical heaven! When I used the shave cream to shave my legs I did need about 8 pumps per leg because the shave cream was thinner I found that I would apply it and it would start dripping soon after so I had to move quick!
