Disappointment in a (tiny) bottle.
Liquid V is an expensive version of every other menthol "stimulating" gel, with even more hype. Totally overpriced for what it does. If you want tingle, get a larger bottle of a cheaper product.Published: February 9, 2010
Pros:
A little bit of tingling sensation.
Cons:
Expensive, super-small bottle, a lot has to be applied to see any kind of result.
My best friend swears by Liquid V, and her rave review prompted me to spend twenty-something dollars on a bottle of it at a local sex shop. I had tried one or two stimulating menthol-based creams before, and found them mediocre at best, but I had high expectations for Liquid V after my friend's exuberant review.
I went home, laid in bed, and applied one drop to my clit, like the instructions suggest. I rubbed away, waiting for something to happen. After a few minutes, I started to feel a cold, tingly sensation from the menthol. While this sensation wasn't bad, I was expecting a lot more. I applied a few more drops, hoping it would boost the sensation, and was rewarded with... more cold, minty tingle! Where was the heat and stimulation I was promised?
The cooling menthol was a good sensation, and did make my clit feel slightly more sensitive, more than any other menthol cream I've tried before. But for the money, I want a lot more than menthol! I would rather buy a cheaper menthol/stimulating gel that I can use a lot of without feeling like I'm throwing all my money away. I don't have a very sensitive clit (I can use a Magic Wand on high without dying), so maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe it would work better for someone who already has a sensitive clit to begin with. But I definitely wouldn't recommend this product to anyone that needs more sensitivity.
I've tried it a couple more times since then, with the same result, and I am definitely not impressed. I gave it two stars, because it does give more menthol tingle than any other product I've tried, but I would not buy it again, or really even bother with what I have left. I think I used half the bottle the first few times I tried it, and the rest is lost in my nightstand somewhere, if that says anything about how much I liked it!

what lube works the best?

Is there tightening gel out there?
-
Not sure if I'm doing this the right way, but I am trying to relate this topic to the Liquid V product here at Eden. I recall having something very similar to this before, and I thought it was to help tighten the PC muscles for sex. Is there something that works like that? Obviously it would only be a temporary fix, but a cool one none the less!

I've had good luck tightening my PC muscles with kegel exercises and using a vaginal exerciser the day of having sex. It doesn't take long to get decent results that way and you don't have to worry about any kind of irritation or anything. -

In fact, it didn't really do much for me other than make me feel like I had ice on my clitoris for a minute or two. Guess it just doesn't work for me.

Thank you for viewing Liquid V – arousal lube review page!

Sounds like a total boner crumple! Maybe you'll find something better in the future.
I've used this before and it BURNED. I do not have sensitive skin, but this stuff absolutely killed me. It was awful. I'm really glad that you didn't have that experience!
@leopardprint: Yeah, it was! I'm not even that interested in that kind of stuff, but I had to try it after my friend spoke so highly of it! Too bad it was a total dud.
@Britni: Oh no! That sounds horrible! It didn't do that to me at all, but I'm sorry that was your reaction to it!
Thanks for the review!
I'm not sure this would work for me either.
Thanks for the review!
