Use

This lip balm prevents chapped lips, soothes the burning from wind burned lips, plumps the appearance of your lips with healthy moisturizing and will also ease the soreness around your nose from blowing it when you have a cold.

This is a great product for anyone, child to adult, who needs that little bit of added protection on their lips. It does not act as a plumping agent, but with a healthy dose of moisture, your lips do fill out and look a bit fuller.

Read the ingredient list at the bottom of the review to make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. There are many natural oils that help with moisturizing and nourishing your lips, but one cannot be too careful.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The lip balm resembles Chapstick in looks and packaging, but that is where the resemblance ends. The balm slides on your lips smoothly and does not leave a heavy wax coating or feeling. It leaves a slippery, somewhat oily coating until it is absorbed into the skin. This can take up to a couple of minutes.

The balm feels a bit tingly and cool when you first apply it, then evens out to a silky coating. Once absorbed, it leaves your lips feeling full and soft. This does stay in place better than I thought it would, being that most of the ingredients are oils.

Taste / Aroma

I chose the Pomegranate Martini and absolutely love the smell. It reminds me of Juicy Fruit gum with a hint of grenadine. The aroma is pretty light and not overly strong or thick, however you can smell it until it gets fully absorbed into your lips.

There is no actual taste, just a sweetness that is present when I sniff the aroma as I lick my lips. When I have made a point not to breathe in while tasting the balm, I just get a slightly oily feeling on my tongue that lasts until I swallow a couple of times.

Performance

This lip balm seemed to do a good job moisturizing and nourishing my lips. It is much better than Chapstick, but not as good as a couple of other luxury brands that I usually wear. I keep this in my truck and use it at least once per day. It is very portable and easy to carry with you.

The balm will wash off if you get to it prior to absorbing into your skin. I used a bit of soap and water and it was instantly removed. I did notice eating and drinking also removed a small amount of what was left on the surface, however it did not do anything for the pre-absorbed amounts.

Follow-up commentary
This lip balm is a nice and convenient moisturizer for your lips. As an aphrodisiac...I am not noticing that affect, but it sure smells yummy! The plumpness is due to nourished lips and adequate moisturizing. I like this balm and will probably order another one or two.
