Double Dip Delight
Chocolate covered bananas...totally YUMMY! This lip balm captures that smell/taste experience remarkably well and should be in the makeup bag of anyone who loves chocolate and bananas or is kissing someone who does. This little tin makes a perfect gift for any age and will leave you wanting to try each of the other flavor combinations.Published: December 9, 2011
Pros:
Gorgeous smell and taste, beautiful little tin
Cons:
Will run out eventually!
Frozen banana flavor lip gloss, really can anyone blame me for being totally curious? I didn't think so! This is one lip gloss that should be in every girl's makeup bag who loves chocolate covered bananas or is kissing someone who does. Not Soap Radio has captured the flavor of deep, rich chocolate slathered over a ripe fragrant banana perfectly. It is a treat for the senses and one I highly recommend. Good Lord and Lady look at me gushing over a product again!
The Frozen Banana lip balm by Not Soap Radio arrives in a light cardboard box that is cheerful and informative. The lip balm, itself, is packaged in a lovely, large, silver tin that features a beautiful little picture of a carnival. The design is by Lezlee Elliott. You get a whopping .75 oz of gloss. The gloss is poured into the tin so that you get banana on one side and chocolate on the other. It is firm int he tin but melts easily on the lips. You can decide to go all banana or all chocolate or, if you are like me, mix it up. I like putting chocolate on top and banana on my bottom lip and then smoosh them together. SO good!
You could use a fingertip or a lip brush for less mess. The balm can go over your favorite lipstick to impart a subtle glossy shine or under it as a smooth base for your lipstick. It can help if you have a problem with lipstick drying out your lips. You could also layer it on after you put it under your lipstick!
It feels light on the lips but very moisturizing. It will kiss off on your partner but won't leave him/her with a glossy mess. It will leave him/her licking his/her lips though!
The tin looks lovely sitting on a dressing table tray, but will fit easily into a makeup bag or purse. It is thin enough to fit in an evening bag though it doesn't come with a compact mirror. The lid is shiny enough to just barely make out your lips, however.
This little lip balm would make a lovely gift for just about any age as it doesn't have suggestive or raunchy pictures or advice on the labels or the box it arrives in. The ingredients are all clearly listed on the bottom of the tin and are pretty run of the mill for a lip gloss. It is mostly composed of Castor oil, olive oil, and carnuba wax for firmness. It has some mica added for a bit of shine and is paraben and phthalates free. It has never been tested on animals.
The lip gloss washes away cleanly with some soap and warm water, if you have any left after licking at your lips! It leaves a little bit of sweetness if you don't remove it before bed making morning kisses just a bit more special.

Experience
Sigel loves bananas, chocolate covered or straight he totally loves them. When he arrived home the day I got this little tin he was surprised at the door by me giving him a great big kiss. His eyes lit up and he exclaimed, "MMmmmm NICE!" before grabbing me for another kiss. So I wold say that this experiment was a successful one and I can recommend this lip balm without any reservations.

Awesome review! Sounds like a great lip gloss
Gosh! I was so set on getting the cherry version, but now I'm torn! Thanks for the review!
I have the cherry cordial and loved it!
Heh I had to restrain myself from buying them all...I'll buy them slowly though!
Thanks for the review
Not my sort of thing, banana flavored lip balm. (My hubby doesn't like bananas. Maybe some other flavor.) However, thanks for the review.
@Ivy the cherry is supposed to be mouthwatering and the oreo cookie looks good...jus' sayin'
Thank you for the review.
Great review, I love that they have the chocolate and banana flavors separated. Makes this more versatile depending on what scent you are in the mood for.
OMG, Chocolate AND Banana! Two of my favorite flavors! I cannot wait to save up more points to get this stuff. I'd buy it but I can't bring myself to pay that much for some lip balm but I would def. use my points for it, it sounds amazing!
I'm so glad you reviewed this. I've had to give up chocolate and bananas most of the time because of my migraines and all the balms and glosses I've tried so far taste really fake. Can't wait to try it!
Awww that sux GS28! Well I imagine you can at least have the smell and light taste of both with this lip balm. Won't make up for the loss 100% but better than nothing
Good Job
Nice review thanks
