Ultra moisturizing shave cream - shaving foam discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by Stargazer2012

I used Eos shave cream to shave my underarms, legs and bikini area. It can be used wet or dry which is a huge plus if you've forgotten to shave your legs and you don't have time to shower. This was the first time I used a shave cream outside of the shower without water and it worked really well.

I wasn't very impressed with the consistency. It feels like lotion but when you're using it in the shower it thins out too much. I felt it should have been thicker. Outside of the shower it was the perfect consistency. It was very moisturizing without being greasy or oily. I didn't need to apply lotion afterwards.

I was pleasantly surprised by the smell. It's definitely not overpowering like some vanilla scents can be. It reminds me of a lotion that smells like vanilla rather than vanilla candy.

Because of the thinner consistency, my razor didn't glide as smoothly on my skin as I was hoping. Also, you can't see Eos shaving cream on your skin so I couldn't tell where I had shaved. I prefer a foam or lotion that stays put in the shower and allows me to see where I haven't shaved.

I was very pleased with how moisturizing this cream was. My bits and pieces didn't feel dry like they usually do after a good shave.

The bottle is more of a higher end container than typical shaving creams/gels/foams. It's made from plastic which is nice because the metal containers sometimes rust. The pump was nice because you don't have to handle the bottle and possibly drop it on your toe!
