extremely useful review
I love using my toys, but I often loathe having to go clean them. A lot of times, I loathe because the spray that I have, well, drips right off most of the time.

Well, no more. The very gel-like consistency of Climax surprised me the first time I went to use it. I squirted some onto my toy, rubbed it around, and it stayed put, completely. It felt pleasantly thick while being spread around and I've even tried to shake it off to no avail. I have noticed that sometimes it's fairly hard to burst the little 'bursts', and then it's hard to get the busted bursts off the toy. What you can do if you're having a hard time or worried about them staying on the toy is either wipe the toy down with a washcloth while rinsing, or scrub harder to get places with a soft toothbrush.

Climax Bursts smells really nice too. It's hard for me to put my finger on exactly what it reminds me of, other than it always smells clean and fresh, with a slight citrus/evergreen thing going on.

The bottle is really easy to use, so long as you don't apply too much pressure to the pull cap. To use it your best bet is to push the little bulb up from the bottom, rather than pulling from the top. The first time I pulled, the cap came right off and flew across the room. Don't fret if you do accidentally pull your cap off, it'll pop right back on.

The design of the bottle itself isn't exactly the most discreet, although if you have small children you could claim that this is for cleaning their toys. The front does say that it is a toy cleaner and that you get 4 fluid ounces. The back gives you directions and ingredients. They tell you to apply generously to all toy surfaces, wait 30 seconds, and wipe, then rinse completely with clean water and dry well.

The ingredients list for those who might have concerns: the active ingredient: Triclosan - antimicrobial. The inactive ingredients: Acrylate Copolymer, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Cellulose, Chromium Hydroxide Freens, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco-Glucoside, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Glycerl Oleate, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Iron Oxides, Lactose, Mannitol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Polyquarternium-7, Propylene Glycol, SD Alcohol 40, Sodium C14-16, Olefin Sulfonate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Water.

Climax has cleaned every surface I've thrown at it with ease, and always leaves it squeaky clean. I much prefer it to a spray cleaner, and its only real downside is having to rinse it off.
Follow-up commentary
Well, it still cleans my toys really well, I can still get it to foam nicely, and I still really like the way it smells, so there's no real change there. But, I did drop the bottle in the bathroom recently and the cap cracked. Not enough to split it open, but enough that it looks like it's about to fall apart any second. I'm telling you this because even though it looks dangerously close to failure, I've used it a bunch of times (and even dropped it a few more) since then, and the cap can still easily be popped up with just one hand. I still pick this over any of my other cleaners any day.

  • Top problems?
    • The top looks good but is hard to open and when useing strength it pops off. Is this normal? any one have the same problems with the bottle?
    • Yep, I covered that in my review. First time I pulled the cap up I popped it right off, but it popped right back on too. Mine even looks like it's about to fall apart but hasn't yet.

  • WHATS THE BEST CLEANER?
    • WHAT CHEMICAL IS THE BEST TO CLEAN TOYS WITH AND WILL NOT HURT YOU?
    • The only cleaner I've ever used that was made specifically for toys was WET brand's Keep It Clean. I still use it and swear by it, you can read my review on it. It cleans thoroughly, does not leave residue, rinses clean, smells awesome, and it's a foaming cleanser which makes the bottle last forever and provides a more thorough clean on anything that has a texture to it. I have the Butterfly Kiss and the butterfly part has wings, antennae, and several lines etched along his belly. Keep It Clean gets in there just fine. On a side note, I was cleaning him the other day and his wing slipped from between my fingers and flicked soapy water in my eye, haha. So I can also say that Keep It Clean will not burn your eyes, at least not from a small amount.
