Supreme body mousse - body moisturizer by Cake Beauty - review by Howells

I was so surprised by this product! I expected something different but it turned out to be even better. Its purpose is body moisturizing but not in a lubricant way. I also think it goes well for adding a little scent to your skin after bath.

Unfortunately it's not abundant at all for massages as it's way too absorbent. The same is true when you want to use it as a lube. It’s too thick for that purpose and it won't keep you lubricated, only moisturized, which you'd expect from a body lotion anyway.

I haven't tried it on a female body, but I get no negative reactions when used on any male body part. You can use it down there too for skin health purposes but it’s not a jack off lube. I’m not saying it’s impossible or not better than going at it dry, but there are much better solutions.
I think it's best to use this right after a shower or bath. Unfortunately, if you apply it to your whole body, it'll quickly run out. A pea-sized amount is barely enough for my chest. The reason I picked this product is the exciting ingredients. It’s a big list and I found some amazing stuff in it. All kinds of oils like mango seed, coconut, macadamia, sunflower. Vitamin E and Aloe is on the list as well. I don’t care too much, but – for those that do – it has Glycerin and some color additives. I think the good ingredients outweigh the ‘bad’ ones.

It's really thick. I couldn't believe it as I thought if I open the cap and hold it upside down, it could be poured. No, it doesn’t work like that. I have been using it for a while and now I can see the level it's at but it just stays right there like pudding when I turn it upside down. You need to begin shaking the bottle then stop it with your hand so the cream moves. Then you need to push the sides of the bottle then it can come out. Well at least it won't leak, but it makes me nervous if I'll be able to get out anything when it's about to run out.

Once it's on your hands, it can be spread easily. While a little amount of regular lubricant or light oil you could cover a larger area of your body, but this makes that hard. You need to use it generously to get some everywhere.

It's not sticky or greasy at all. It's a lot less milky than Nivea body lotion for example. I don't know if you have that in the USA, but in Europe that's the mainstream brand and if you say body lotion or cream, I say Nivea. They come with pump bottles etc. So this feels a bit drier than the mainstream body lotions. It's creamy actually.

I haven't tasted it but I could almost eat it, it smells so delicious. I have to admit I wasn't this crazy about the scent at first. You know when it's about a tropical smell I'd expect pineapple. This doesn't have that, but Coconut. It has a fresh, exotic smell that is sweet but not overly sweet. It can be good for any gender. I like it on myself but I’d also love it on a girl.

As I started using it, I began to like the scent more and more. I bought a Nivea for comparison, a product that I remember I liked in the past mostly because of the perfume they use. That's when I realized I love the scent of this Cake product. It's so new to me and I began to think that new is always better. I used these back-to-back then Cake took over in the end.

The wetness doesn't stay very long, so after using it you can hop into bed you won't stain the sheets at all. Your skin will hold its scent and become very soft. You'll feel like a cake that is ready to be eaten!

The bottle has a very safe cap. It's a flat round top and you need to push one side to get the other one up. The residue won't dry inside the cap, which is a nice thing as I have seen it happen with other lotions and it wasn't very pleasant. I left it rolled over with the cap open and it didn't leak. It's suitable for travel; I'd take it with me to an exotic location to make the picture perfect. The bottle is sturdy but you can press it to get the cream. The design is very nice, nothing sexual about it by the way. You can leave it out anywhere, as it's just a body lotion.
