Expected better

I really did not care for the Club Vibe. The vibrations were not strong enough to do much of anything. I don't even use this toy for a teaser I find the vibes so weak. I think the purpose of this toy (to wear secretly at a club) is a lost cause as I find the wires and controls would be hard to hide and the vibe itself to not stay in place.

Use

Vibe is used to stimulate the clit. It can be used hands-free, but personally, I find that it doesn't have enough power to stimulate well enough for hands-free. It is too small to be used anywhere else besides the clitoris.

Material / Texture

The vibe is made of plastic, and the panties cotton. I love the panties, they are super comfy and come in one size only. The vibe itself is very smooth and velvety. The control is made of a hard plastic.

Design / Shape / Size

The vibe reminds me of a large pill. That is the shape of it. It is about as big as... from the tip of my pinky finger to my finger's second crease/joint... maybe a bit bigger. The control resembles an mp3 player. It is not as tall as an mp3, but it is quite a bit thicker, especially for today's players. It comes with a black draw-string pouch for storage.

Because the vibe is so small, this can only be used for clitoral stimulation.

Functions / Performance / Controls

You can use this vibe in 3 different ways. 1) plug it into your real mp3 player and it will "dance" to the rhythm of your music. 2) plug it into the control to have it vibe to the play settings. 3) plug it into the control and pick the setting that allows for the vibe to send off vibrations from any loud (very loud) noises.

The controls were a bit difficult for me to get used to. I found them a bit confusing.

The vibrations aren't really noisy, but they can be heard pretty clearly when close enough. It isn't loud enough to heard through a door, and no one would be able to hear it if you were using the external music setting.

The vibe is powered by Aaa-2 battery, which it comes with.

Care and Maintenance

This is a pretty simple toy to care for and clean. The vibe itself can get wet and nothing has happened to it so far (not that I've used it all that much..).

Packaging

I thought it was packaged very nicely! Very nice for gift giving. (I wouldn't gift give it though because I thought that the toy sucked (in the bad way). The undies were great, but I wouldn't pay 55 bucks for a cotton thong.)

Personal comments

Personally, I wouldn't wear this to a club and didn't plan on such a thing when getting the Club Vibe, but to each their own. That said, I think it would be pretty difficult to both keep all the wires hidden and have the little vibe in the right position to actually get anywhere.

Experience

I did not like this toy at all. I thought the vibrations were no where near strong enough and I'm not a fan of wires or other in-the-way pieces of extra that make products work. This was definitely in my way. I had to toss the Club Vibe aside to get another, stronger, vibe of mine to even finish the job. I personally wouldn't even use this toy as a teaser.
Follow-up commentary
The panties are cute, and I wear them. That's about it. The vibe itself is sitting in the bottom of my drawer and was never used again.

Thanks for the insightful review, even though you didn't enjoy the toy the details you gave about it give a pretty good idea of what an interested buyer can expect. I was interested in these to either test out or gag gift a friend, but after reading how 'limited' the vibe itself is I don't really think it's worth the money.

  • Club Vibe?
    • Has anyone actually used this in a club, as the name suggests? It looks like the wiring would make it next to impossible to discreetly use out. My thought is that you'd have to go in the bathroom to turn it on where there is no music and everyone around would hear you turn it on. Then if you manage to get it on without anyone knowing, where the heck do the wires and remote go? If this works in clubs I MUST have it, but I don't want to drop the money if it can't be used for that purpose.
    • Yes, we've used ours in public. You can turn it on in the car before you get in the club, because it doesn't pick up all that much ambient noise (like talking) especially if you have the sensitivity turned down. It's best to wear shorts/skirt/or jeans with a pocket, because you can clip the control pack on the waist band and tuck any extra cord in the pocket. The control pack will be visible if you don't wear a long loose shirt, but it doesn't scream "sex toy".
