Dona finally failed me with their Shimmer Spray. After trying some of their products I was expecting something of much more quality and uses. This product seems to be something to give a little girl to use while playing dress up.

Packaging
Dona's Shimmer Spray comes without any additional packaging or wrapping. It comes in a nice sized 2oz bottle made of a nice, thick glass. This is in a spray pump format with a lid that fits snugly, preventing leakage. The lid also unscrews in case you need to get to the pump line or liquid inside. The labeling is just a single sticker, but the sticker is secure and smooth.

Use
So first of all, I ordered the Pomegranate. I had expected this to have a scent since they sold them with names of nice smelling things and claimed it had aphrodisiacs. Uhm, what sort of product like this doesn't have a scent? Well, this one doesn't. I suppose this is a great thing if you're looking for spray glitter you can wear along with your favorite perfume, but it sure surprised me.

The first few pumps on the spray bottle left clumpy glitter trails on my skin. I wiped these off to try again. The spray finally started actually misting better, but it still had some uneven squirts in it. This caused glitter to be spread uneven. When I tried to wipe some of it away, it left slimy trails on my skin that looked like snot. Ewww!

I washed and finally managed to spray enough on in a somewhat even pattern to be done with it. It started off feeling sticky, and once it dried my skin felt tight and uncomfortable where it was applied. I could at least see a bit of glitter though. However, after about an hour I couldn't find much glitter left on me, but my skin still felt icky. The pic below is after it was first applied before drying completely.



Overall, I see no point in using this again. I can find longer lasting sparkle in a scented spray for cheaper elsewhere. Although the product itself it made of good things, there are other organic products out there that cost less and make a bigger bang for my buck. This left me sorely disappointed in Dona and hope if I try more of their products in the future, they come through for me.

I feel so incomplete not having much to type, but unfortunately the product itself was incomplete. I will not be surprised to find this item discontinued in the future. Hopefully they will work on the issues and release it again the way it should be.

After 2 months, I had completely forgotten about this product cause it was so useless. When I noticed this review coming up for a follow-up, I found the bottle. I suppose one good point is that it didn't get all icky from sitting around. I shook it up and sprayed it to the same effect as above. I ended up giving it to a friend who stopped over for her pre-teen daughter.
