Pleasure balm prolonging gel by Kama Sutra - review by FVWhitechapel

I’m always partial to KamaSutra products, and this is no exception. It’s clear that this is a quality product from the moment you open the packaging. It’s pretty, it’s exciting to add it to your stash of sex things, but the real question is, will it hold up to its standards once put to the test? Sadly, for me, the answer to this was ‘no’.

At first sniff, the product seems like it’s bound for deliciousness. The fragrance is delightfully cool and orangey, the gel itself a bright shade of tangerine, as it should be. But unfortunately, it didn’t pass the taste test for me. At the front, the flavor is sweet and creamsicle-y (since the second ingredient is sugar, this is expected,) but it quickly subsides into a menthol, toothpaste aftertaste that leaves me lacking appetite. However, I must say objectively that my husband does not mind this aftertaste, so it might still be worth giving it a try for its other features.

I must give KamaSutra credit where credit is due, this product does exactly what it says it’s going to do, provided you use it within a realistic time frame- but I’ll come back to this. If you want to numb it, this will numb it. (See how long your guy lasts once he’s good and dull.) If you want to cool it, spread some of this on and give it a gentle blow. (It’s especially fun for nipples in that respect!)

This product warns you not to use it internally, and there’s a good reason for that, it will burn, and women prone to irritation or infection will not want that much sugar inside of them, or they run the risk of an imbalanced PH or a UTI.

The comment I made about a realistic time frame is in regard to the fact that the older this product gets, the more it loses its effectiveness. We happen to have an old tube that’s about four years old. It no longer numbs or tingles- however, it makes an extraordinary lube for hand-jobs (with a tasty oral finish, if you’re so inclined!) A quarter-sized amount was enough to slather my husband up and get him off in record time.
