These rose petals are an ideal first timer sensual kit. It will work for anyone looking to set the mood. I am using it for our three year wedding anniversary suprise in March. I plan on using it on a bed and possibly in a jacuzzi, since I reserved a hotel room that has one. You can use them to cover different body parts. Be creative! I'm not sure about allergy concerns, but the petals are scented.

The rose petals are polyester. They are burgundy in color and feel a little rough, but only because it is made out of material. They are not very soft but I like the feel of them. They seem like they would stay in place well on your skin, although I have not used them yet. I like how the petals do not crumble.

The petals are perfumed, not unscented like I thought they were going to be. I would compare the smell to perfume. It is a good smell, but it is pretty strong if you put them close to your nose. If you keep a distance between them, you should not be able to smell much of it. There is no taste to them, and they are not edible.

There are 100 rose petals in this small package. They are regular size rose petals - 2 1/2 inches in height and width. They float fine, but get kind of limp if under water for very long. It would be best used around the jacuzzi/bath tub, so that you will still have them in perfect condition for next time.I just received the rose petals kit but it seems like it will last a good long time and I am hoping to use it next year too. I'm sure it cleans up easily. I know they are not real roses, but it is a good kit if you want to be romantic and it is your first time with petals. It is my first time trying something like this even though we have been married almost three years now. It will be like a honeymoon we never had. I've had this anniversary planned for a while now and I am sure we will both be very satisfied with the outcome.

The product arrived in a small USPS box. The petals are in a small, decorative, discreet box. It will be easy to just place in my purse when we need it. It is easy to handle and has an easy to open flap. The packaging is great storage for the petals when not in use.
