Flower body balm review

I recommend Flower Body Balm as a lubricant to enhance a woman's feelings and comfort level during sexual intercourse. It provides just enough lubrication to cut down on friction, and absorbs nicely into the skin without leaving sticky or tacky residue.
Published: April 11, 2008
Pros:
Enhances sexual pleasure, minty scent and feel, absorbs well into skin
Cons:
Not effective as a heavy-duty lubricant

extremely useful review
Flower Body Balm is a female sexual enhancer that also doubles as a lubricant. It has a beeswax base, so it is truly more of a balm than a liquid or a cream.

Flower Body Balm has a minty, herbal scent that is quite pleasant. Because the product is more of a balm than a cream or liquid, however, it doesn’t have much of a flavor, except for leaving a cool mint impression. Thus, it shouldn’t interfere if used before oral sex! The mintiness is one of the sensation enhancers found in this product. When rubbed into the clitoral, genital area it produces a pleasant tingling cool/warm sensation. This tingling stimulates the flow of blood in the region and makes it more sensitive.

Flower Body Balm provides a subtle, natural lubrication perfect for sexual intercourse. I don’t think I’d use it with some of my heftier toys (even if the materials were compatible) because it’s not incredibly slick. But it definitely reduces friction and makes thing move a little smoother without loss of sensation.

I liked the fact this lube rubs directly into the skin and eventually is absorbed entirely with no stickiness or messy cleanup required. It is actually soothing and softening feeling, like something you would use on chapped lips. (Ok, maybe that’s a weird analogy, but that’s really what it reminds me of!)

Flower Body Balm also comes in a fairly discreet tin container that LOOKS like a skin-care product, not a sexual lubricant. Even the name is discreet. My one wish would be that they would take the “For Her Pleasure” line off the lid of the case. If they did, I would have no qualms about letting this sit out on my nightstand all the time.

The sensations provided by Flower Balm are subtle—this is not a miracle “female Viagra.” However, as stated before, it does provide a pleasant tingling/cooling/warming sensation where applied, and does subtly enhance female sexual pleasure.
Follow-up commentary
The more I use this product, the more I like it for sexual intercourse. It provides just that extra amount of lubrication without being runny, gloppy, or sticky, or without reducing friction to the point of not being able to feel anything. As an aside, it *does* work wonderfully as a lip balm, in a crisis!

Yeah.  It reminded me of "lip balm" as well...  I don't know about toys- never used it.  But it sure was wonderful the one time it was on someone's cock and I had my ass fucked- so it has some lubricating power!

Yes, I'd definitely save this one for intercourse, glass, or hard plastic.

    • are any of these ingridients harmful?
    • I'm personally not sure. However, if you are concerned about the ingredients, you can do an internet search on them and possible side effects. Any product can pose a threat for sensitive skin allergies. If you purchase these types of items, it's a good idea to test a small amount before applying liberally to be on the safe side.
