Romantic candle - mist by Kingman - review by KC Kitten

This candle comes in 4 scents: Champagne Rain, Midnight Romance, Apples and Cinnamon or the one I chose, French Vanilla. Each candle comes in a glass jar and the candles are not made out of solid wax; they are made out of little wax beads inside the jar with the wick stuck in it.

The french vanilla smelled a lot like vanilla ice cream! It is pretty discreet and I leave mine out on my night stand, because the most sexual thing it says on there is listing that it contains pheromones. I did not notice the pheromones while burning the candle, but it sure did smell nice.

The candle is supposed to be able to burn for about 12 hours and it seems like it might be able to do that because so far I've burned it 2 hours and it's lasted a long time. As you burn it, the beads liquefy; then once you blow the candle out, they do turn into solid wax on the top that was burned. If you remove that portion of it, there are still wax beads underneath. One thing I didn't like about the candle, though, is the wick seemed to move to the side of the candle and now the one side seems to be getting dark from the flame and smoke, and it gets really hot! You aren't supposed to let it burn for more than 4 hours. The candle itself is pretty small, maybe half the size of a soda can.

I was able to smell the scent pretty well from up close but from the dresser to the bed I was not able to. This was a bit disappointing because it is supposed to be a mood-setting candle, but it does smell good sitting on the desk.

The jar has a tin lid that you can screw on and off, so it is easy to store without worrying about the wax beads or melted wax getting everywhere. You can even stack them if you get more than one!
