Fresh, But Not Long-Lasting

While the Dona Linen Spray isn't the fabric refresher I was looking for, it is still pleasantly-scented and works well to freshen the air or the sheets for a short period of time.

I bought the Dona Linen Spray with the hopes that I could spray this on the sheets and make the bed in the morning and when I got back into bed in the evening, the sheets would still smell nice, like a fabric refresher spray. This linen spray does not work for that purpose, but I have found other uses for it. This product's ingredients are:

Purified Water
Caprylic Capric Glycerides - Oil-soluble stabilizer
Polyglycerol-6 Dioleate - Emulsifying agent
Glyceryl Caprylate Caprate - Emulsifying agent
Propanediol - Solvent or carrier for fragrance oils; allergic reactions possible
Saccharide Isomerate - Binding agent and emollient, has moisturizing properties
Passion Fruit (Passiflora Edulis) Seed Oil - Aphrodisiac
Rice Bran (Oriza Sativa) Oil - Skin conditioner
Açaí (Euterpe Oleracea) pulp Oil - Aphrodisiac
Babassu (Orbignya Oleifera) Seed Oil - Skin conditioner; derived from nuts
Phenoxyethanol - Preservative used as a "safer" alternative to parabens; safe for cosmetics, though potentially harmful if consumed
Ethylhexylglycerin - Preservative used as a safer alternative to parabens, skin conditioner; allergic reactions possible
Garcinia Mangostana (Mangosteen) Fruit - Aphrodisiac
Fragrance

This product functions well as a room spray to refresh the air. The scent is not long-lasting, but it is pleasant and can mask odors in the air. I have the blue lotus scent, which does not smell much like the blue lotus body wash or massage candle. The scent is both sweet and sour at the same time and kind of reminds me of some sort of sour candy. While that probably sounds unpleasant, it smells pretty nice, though pretty unique and hard to place. I've had no problem with this linen spray staining my sheets, despite the presence of several oils in the ingredients.

Because of the possible allergic reactions, I would suggest exercising caution before using as a body spray, especially if you know you have sensitive skin. Similarly, you should probably allow the spray to dry completely if used on your sheets and blankets before getting into bed. This product allegedly has aphrodisiac properties, derived from the namesake ingredients for each of the scents, though I have not noticed the effects when using the linen spray or any other Dona product. Your individual mileage may vary, however.

The packaging is a plastic non-aerosol spray bottle, which contains 4.5 ounces of liquid and is recyclable. The label has Dona's signature lace print, the brand name, scent name, and the words, "an aphrodisiac infused ritual". This, along with other products from the Dona line, would make a nice gift, so long as the recipient is comfortable with something that states that it contains aphrodisiacs.
Follow-up commentary
This spray is just okay. It smells somewhat tart though and the scent fades very quickly. Overall, this spray was not worth purchasing.
