Give a little love
A small heating heart to warm and relax your partner. Works great for helping relieve sore muscles. Definitely worth it.Published: February 8, 2010
Pros:
Heats up quickly, reusable, lasts long.
Cons:
Edges can be scratchy.
I bought this as part of a valentines present for my boyfriend. I wanted us to have a hot relaxing night and this little heating massager looked perfect to help make the night very relaxing.
The heart is really easy to use, you just click or snap the little metal disk inside and the liquid starts to solidify and release a pleasant amount of heat.
It measures about 5" by 5", which was a little big and awkward for my hands, but it fits my boyfriends hands very well.
We tried it out first without any oils which didn't last long. The plastic kept sticking to his skin and not moving around very smoothly. He didn't complain, but when I rubbed the aroma therapy massage oils into his back and then started to use the heart he gave a little sigh and said that it felt so good. The heart surprisingly lasted a good half an hour so he got a nice long massage.
The great thing about this product is that it is reusable. It only needs to be boiled for a couple minutes and then left to cool and it is good as new! The boiling also helps to sanitize it which makes cleaning it super easy. When boiling be careful not to let it touch the bottom or sides of the pot as it could melt. Wrapping it in a cloth might help avoid this.
We boiled it then let it cool and when it was usable my boy gave me a massage. I was super excited. I love massages, they just feel so so good and are one thing that usually always turns me on. I have to say I prefer having his hands massage me, but there are some things his hands just can not do, like heat up for instance. The heat felt amazing. It made my body just melt. My muscles were a little sore from work and the heat helped to sooth that right away. It felt so good I was pretty sad when it started to cool down.
I did not like that the edges kept scratching me. That was rather unpleasant. We figured out how to avoid it by folding the edges up a bit and only using the middle. That felt a lot better, but meant we lost some of the heated surface area. I would have liked if it had heated up a little more, but that is purely personal preference as it does get quite warm already.
When we were done and had boiled it again I set it up on the fridge so I could get a drink. As soon as I put it down, it started to solidify again. I think maybe because the fridge was so cold it activated it? I'm not completely sure, but I'm keeping it away from super cold things until I want to use it again.
This little heart would make a wonderful warm addition to sensual play. I like silk for smooth, ice for cold, wax for hot (all the normal defaults) and although we haven't used it for this yet I think the heart would make a great warm.
I'm pretty pleased with this product overall. It's great for him and her. If the edges weren't scratchy I'd say it's pretty well perfect. It's a great massage tool and ours will definitely see many more uses.

This is still as enjoyable as the first time. Better to have two of them if you want to switch off on the massage with a partner. Waiting to boil and cool it between uses, isn't always as plausible or pleasurable as it seemed the first few times we used it. This little warmer would still make a great addition to any romantic gift though!

This would not be able to burn me would it?
-
I doubt it would actually burn you.

Quote: This would not be able to burn me would it?I don't know if you've seen those stick-on heating pads sold in stores, but it's basically the same; the temperature isn't enough to burn you, but the prolonged exposure could. Sort of like when your lap top overheats, its really warm but it doesn't hurt... until you let it *keep* sitting on your lap.

Thank you for viewing Heart warmer – massager review page!

What is this made out of? How large is it?
I think it might be made out of a PVC material, and I'm not sure what kind of solution is inside. I measures about 5" by 5".
It's a little big for my hands, but it fits my boyfriends hands very well.
Nice review, thanks!
This looks fun - too bad the edges are scratchy.
Nice review!
Great review!
