Dona bath foam - bath and shower gel by System JO - review by Peggi

Dona bath foam should be used by those who enjoy luxurious, wonderfull smelling, bubble baths. In addition to giving you a thick, long-lasting bubble bath, you may also use this product as more of a bodywash. Since it lathers up very well on a washcloth or bath pouf.

It makes a great gift for the friend or family member who you know enjoys a nice bath as well! System JO has quite a wonderful addition in the Dona line! This would be perfect to combine with other products to create a nice little bath set, perfect for that special lady in your life, or even gentlemen who enjoy little luxuries like baths and exfoliating!

Both inside and outside of the bottle the foam looks like an oil. If you pour it onto your fingers it has somewhat of an oily consistency, however, it is slightly stickier than a regular oil. As soon as it hits and mixes with the water it begins to create a foam. Under stronger water pressure you will get nice, big, long-lasting bubbles; however it does take a few caps full.

It has a slight tint to it and may vary by scent. This particular bottle's product had a slightly yellow tint.

The liquid pours very easily and does not make a mess. It does pour very quickly though, so caution should be taken so as not to spill it. If you do spill it on clothing it will just come out in the wash and does not stain. Should you spill it on yourself just run your skin under the water! No sense in wasting any of it - haha!

The bubbles start off more frothy than bubbly but as the water continues to create more and more. You get large bubbles!

This product should not be ingested, however, it smells absolutely heavenly. The goji berry has that typical smell you'd expect of a product labeled with such a scent. For those of you unfamiliar with this scent it is a slightly floral, somewhat powdery, almost fruity type of scent. It smells wonderful though!

Opening the lid the product is of course going to smell much stronger than once it mixes and mingles with the water. It is not uncomfortably strong in the bottle but for those who are incredibly sensitive to headaches induced by smell you may not want to take large whiffs of this straight from the bottle.

In the water, however, this product leaves just enough of an aroma to fill the closed room but not enough to be bothersome. It makes you feel as though you were bathing in a field filled with flowers and berries!

After rinsing out the tub and plugging it up I poured a few cap-fulls of my Dona bath foam under the running water. I instantly smelled the easily-recognizable scent of one of their amazing goji berry products. I couldn't wait for the bath to fill up and I turned the water up as high as it would go. Foam and bubbles began to appear on the surface of the water in the tub quickly. I pinned my hair up so that it wouldn't get wet and slipped into the hot bath. The bubbles were medium to large in size and incredibly frothy as well. While the scent was strong enough to smell it wasn't overwhelming. I soaked for about 45 minutes, just enjoying the scent and feeling of the ingredients softening my skin. The foam was still present when I had finished my bath so after I wrapped up in my bath robe I still had to rinse out the tub to prevent a film from forming. It lasted for quite a long time!

After my bath I went over to my guy and gave him a hug. He immediately noticed the scent and said he liked it a lot and that it was one of his favorites so far. I continued to smell really nice for at least an hour after the bath and the bathroom itself smelled wonderful for hours since we keep the door shut.

The ingredients softened and moisturized my skin so that it took very little moisturizer afterwards. This was a nice treat as I tend to have very dry skin. I also noticed that my feet were somewhat softer after the bath although they were still rough, but not as much as they usually are after a bath.

Inside of the typical box that products come in. This item comes inside of a plastic bag tied tightly at the top. This ensures that the product won't leak all over other items just in case, though it is fully sealed. It comes with a screw on/off cap which is black and a white seal that must be peeled off to use the product.

The bottle itself is clear. This particular scent has a lacy-looking red label wrapped around it with the product information. The lid can be removed and put back on with one hand if needed and it does not leak easily. The amount you will get is 8.5 oz and that should last you several baths!

If you plan to travel just to be safe you may want to put this in a plastic bag. But for every day use you should not have any spills or problems.

I love this bubble bath and it is now one of my fast favorites! The scent is beautiful and soothing all at the same time while the ingredients act to moisturize my skin. I am beginning to quickly fall in love with this line of bath and beauty products. I especially love to moisturize with the matching scented spray afterwards.
