Gold Dust will turn you into a golden goddess!
This is an awesome product! I love my Gold Dust because it's so much fun to use. It smells yummy and it's very silky. I like that it came with a puff but it's really thin and applying powder with it gets messy. I choose to use a makeup brush with mine instead. For the price this is a great item! You should definitely pick some up! I'd highly recommend it!Published: July 7, 2011
Pros:
The powder is lightweight, pretty, shimmery, and sparkly! Smells yummy!
Cons:
The puff is really thin, gets messy
Follow-up commentary

Now that the holidays are right around the corner I find myself using this product more often for a little extra holiday shimmer. I use a fluffy kabuki brush and sparingly use it on my arms, legs, shoulders, ect. Anywhere skin is showing when I'm dressed in my holiday best. It smells really good but I prefer it to be unscented or have more of a perfume type of scent because it's not edible. You get a LOT of product and it'll last you a really long time. I threw the little fluffy puff away because it was too messy and annoying to use. I still love this product! I'd definitely buy it again but I doubt I'll be running out for a long time.

Edible vs non?

I love the smell of the gold dust, but Id really like to see them come out with more scents. Do you prefer the fruity scents or perfume type scents?

I prefer scentless, but if I had to choose, fruit.

is it more of a shimmer?

Quote: is it more of a shimmer? In a couple of reviews this was mentioned, I believe they said that it was "shimmery" rather than glittery. I can't quite recall though. It was one of the top voted for reviews on the product if that helps any

Most of the reviews said that it was a shimmer rather then chunkier glitter.

Thank you for viewing Gold dust – powder review page!

I didn't even know that EF sells this kind of stuff. Great read.
I sooooooo have to have this!
Thanks for the review. I don't know that we would have a use for it but one never knows.
I Love this powder! One of my daughters (she's basically an adult) saw me using it and wanted it, so she got a container of it for Christmas from me.
I don't care much for the "puff" either. I use make up brushes for applying it.
Good review. I tend to use this more in the winter, but I love it all the time.
Lovely review, Violet. I especially appreciate the tips you gave in the performance section. I wonder, though, does the fragrance seem strong, or light? Would it trouble someone with allergies?
Also, if the tub has a complete ingredients list, I'd love to read it. Great review!
A picture is worth a thousand words.... thanks for including them!
I love my powder! I also use brushes, the puff is just too temporary.
Great review!
Thanks for the review!
