Good, but I've had better.

While average and horrible tasting, it's something that's so unique it should be tried! If nothing else, it does clean you... so you're not really out too terribly much.

Use

As a shower gel product, it's very good. Once you get it wet and start using it, it starts foaming up very well. It smells fruity, though with a sour note on the back end. It doesn't ruin the experience, or give headaches or anything. It's there and then goes away.

There is sugar in this product, so take care to not get it inside your vagina, as that could cause a yeast infection. Now with that sugar, this product is stated to be edible. Which it is... to a point. It tastes horrible. Awful. When we tasted it D actually jumped out of the shower and had to gargle with mouthwash to remove the taste. It's more of a product that's safe if you get it in your mouth. I would not make it a point to get it in your mouth.

Now please keep in mind I have the Fruit flavor. I cannot speak for the mint flavor...yet. I just may have to try it.

It's actually quite runny, which is disappointing. Though it comes in a 16 oz bottle, with as runny as it is, you have to make sure not to overdo it and use a boat load of it at once.

Once you're using it however the thinness isn't quite a problem. It rinses off very well and does not leave any sort of residue on your skin.

Cleaning wise it's pretty average. We don't feel any extra clean using it, though we do not feel unclean.

Taste / Aroma

Smell? Strong. It's very fruity with a sour note. It permeates the air, but is not cloying; it does not stick around. Once it gets out it's there for a while, then it's gone.

Taste? Awful, retched. When we tasted it D leaped for the mouthwash to rinse and I stood under the water in the shower rinsing my mouth out. I would not make it a point to get it in your mouth. Though, as it is edible if you do, it's okay.

The taste stays with you for quite a while.

Performance

I can't really say if there's anything I liked best about this product. It's certainly not staying in the shower. It does its job; it cleans you. It has a pretty cool feature of being a safe-to-eat body wash. But it's nothing extra cool. It is good enough that I'm curious if the other flavor will be better, as that's the main problem we had with this one. The flavor and us didn't jive at all.

The bottle is nice though in that it has a bit of a matte texture, so it's easier to hold on to. When it gets wet it's not as slippery as other bottles can get.

Special Features

It's a body wash that's safe to eat. Pretty neat in my book!
Follow-up commentary
Still not my favorite this sits on our bathroom cupboard just in case we run out of our other shower gels. It's right in the middle of bad and okay. I can't say I'd suggest it, but I'd not warn against it either. It's good if you need a bathing gel that's okay to ingest.
