Good, But Not Great

This toy cleaner, while convenient and inconspicuous for travel or unexpected play time, is a bit more expensive than I would expect a product with chemical taste and odors to be.

The PicoBong Toy Cleanser Pen Spray (Wow, that's a mouthful!) is a portable toy cleaner that is completely inconspicuous and easy to bring with you just about anywhere you plan to have a little fun. The first thing noticed when I received my toy cleanser was its appearance. To someone who didn't know what they were looking at it appears to be a pen or small marker, making it perfect for tossing into your luggage, briefcase, or desk drawer without worrying who is going to be looking through your stuff. It's a relatively small amount at .34 ounces, making it a little more on the expensive side than I would have liked. My wife and I have several toys that we use often, and I have my doubts that this spray will last longer than a couple of weeks, especially with the amount that needs to be sprayed on to coat a decent sized toy. If you're only using it in your travel sex kit or your date night kit, perhaps it will be worth it for you.

The instructions state to spray the cleanser on your toy and let it sit for five seconds before wiping off with a lint-free cloth. Easy enough, right? Yes, it's that simple. However, I was a little displeased with a couple of things. My first issue with this spray is that even after thoroughly wiping off the spray there is a residue left behind that, while you can't feel it, you can definitely taste and smell it. There is a chemical sweetness to the taste, probably due to the sucralose and sorbitol I noticed on the ingredient list. Definitely not a natural or organic product, and might be a little irritating to those who have allergies to anything on the ingredient list. The smell was a bit more off-putting to me than I thought it would be. When I'm using a toy with my wife, I want to smell the typical scent of female arousal. I am one of those guys that is extremely turned on by the smell of pussy, and having a chemical odor permeating that sensory moment is a turn off for me.

I used this cleaner on several of my silicone, plastic, and metal toys and it worked well with all of those without damaging any toys or "melting" any of the silicone coating. The one thing I would say is that I noticed that the chemical odor and taste was more prominent on the silicone items than it was on the plastic and metal, so that is something to be aware of.
