Good but not the Pina
This product is normally good, but the Pina Colada flavor is not my favorite. I do like the Sugar Lips Line.Published: June 25, 2009
Pros:
Edible.
Cons:
Did not taste like Pina Colada.
It feels like forever that I had been searching for a lipstick or lip gloss, which actually had a good flavor and, that did not taste like false chemicals. I have gone up and down from store to store searching. I came across this line of sugar lips products and was satisfied with it at first.
I really love the way it feels on your lips, and the texture left behind after putting it on. It has not "died out" in five minutes like most flavored lipsticks that I have tried. It does not get dry or fade away, like some designer lipsticks do. It makes you feel like a little girl wearing her favorite cherry lipstick that never left her hand. I carry one of these with me away, because you never know what to expect, or better yet, who you expect to see and kiss. :)
The Sugar Lips lipstick color, does last a while on your lips. However, when I tried the Pina Colada favor, I believe it could have been a bit better. It did not taste quite like it should and I was a bit disappointed, by that one specifically. Overall, I do like the Sugar Lips lipstick except for that flavor which I find quite odd.
I have the biggest fascination with anything that contains flavors, or is edible. I love the line Sugar Lips Lipstick, even the name in itself is appealing. I have tried numerous glosses or balms but nothing like these. I find these Sugar Lips Lipsticks to be on my list of favorites. Each flavor has a witty name, and the line has a good diversity when it comes to the flavors themselves. I would recommend them to prospective buyers and just tell them to not only try one, but to try them all because each flavor is different.

Sugar Lips Lipstick

I'm interested in the Sugar Lips lipsticks, but can anyone tell me about the pigments? Are they true to color, or are they more translucent? I like heavy pigments!

I don't personally own any of them, but based on the reviews I've read of it, they go on fairly true to color, but still slightly translucent. I think the more you put on, the more opaque you'll be able to make it.

I'll let you know once the one I want is in stock :)

Thank you for viewing Sugar lips review page!

Is it a glossy feel or a matte lipsticky feel?
Is it only a sheen or does it go on opaque? I would maybe try them out only if they weren't really apparent.
What are some of the other flavors you liked? Do they condition the lips and make them feel softer? Would they be good for dry cracked lips? What do the people who kiss you think of them?
Thanks for the review!
