This sensual oil is best for sensual massage and rubbing out one’s own kinks. Great for couples/group/single use. It lasts a good long time and smells tasty enough to eat. If you are looking for a high quality, great smelling massage oil this is your best friend.

It is an oil but it’s not a thick, syrupy oil – very similar to a thinner version of vegetable oil. It does take a bit of use to find the ideal amount to use on your partner. The first couple times you use it I suggest using a quarter-sized amount and adding more if necessary. We used about a quarter plus a dime's worth the first time to start and never had to reapply. It worked through the whole 30 min massage. It has an easy to use pop-up lid so you can open and close one-handed. There was no sticky or greasy feeling once the massage was over. It melted into my skin and left me with a very nice scent for the 18 hours before my next shower (to test it, I took a shower about 30 min before testing to see how long the scent could last). When I leave it on, I am left feeling smooth & silky. My husband commented that my skin was so soft the next morning. He liked the texture too and did not complain or comment negatively on how he felt the morning after we used it either. It is a bit thin when you first pour it on, but it wasn't messy at all.

The smell is amazing. I compared it to fresh strawberries left to sit in sugar. It is at once sweet and intoxicating without being overpowering. My husband says it smells like strawberry bubble-tape. Either way it is tempting and the sweet smell never disappoints. Shunga massage oil can even double as perfume. It could potentially, however, be a little sickening if you had low blood sugar and felt resulting nausea. The scent did last at least 18 hours (then I gave up and took a shower). It wasn’t as strong after 8 hours, but still noticeable. I got several compliments from people about my “body spray”. I told them it was massage oil they could find by Shunga at EdenFantasys.com! There is almost no taste in small quantities. It does taste faintly of fresh strawberries if you lick it enough. It is kissable, but not particularly edible.

It could irritate skin of those who are extra sensitive to oils and different scents. I usually have issues with bodywashes and oils, but there have been no reactions to this oil. I wouldn’t suggest this as a lube, but a bit shouldn’t be a problem if it gets inside (I haven’t had a problem and we definitely didn’t wash hands after warming up with this sexy oil). This product lasts us a good 30-45 minutes without reapplication. Unlike other popular massage oils on the market, this is not warming (much preferable when you’re hot as it is). As mentioned previously, the scent lasted at least 18 hours. It melts into the skin to leave you silky smooth, but you could wash it off using an exfoliating body wash. I loved that it was easy to open, lasted a while, smelled great, didn’t have to reapply, and that it is a great price for so much. It comes in an 8 fluid oz. bottle. We’ve used it every night for two weeks and it has only decreased by approx. a 1/3 inch down the liquid holding portion of 6 ¼ inch tall holding area. It does spread well, so start small and find your perfect amount. Not difficult to use in the moment. Nothing negative to say about this product.

It came in a plastic bag. The bottle wasn’t leaking but that was a fail safe. There was a seal on the bottle itself under the cap. The oil comes in a tasteful slim clear bottle with a beautiful black Asian print motif with a couple in the picture. The print is small to read, but clear when holding the bottle. It does say erotic on it, so you may not want to be good to leave lying around. Despite the good lid, it would be best to store it in a gallon size zip-lock to prevent spills or leakage, especially for air travel. Due to the size it must be stored in your checked luggage. Instructions are not included. The bottle does say “Erotic massage oil: Silky smooth, this oil slides gracefully onto this skin, evoking a sensation of total rapture. Sexual desire becomes alert and ready for love.” It is a Canadian made product with the ingredients clear and easy to read. It is composed of “sweet almond oil, grape seed oil, sesame oil, avocado oil, safflower oil, vitamin e (good for healing properties and decreased scar tissue), ylang ylang, fragrance, amyl cinnamal, benzyl alcohol, cinnamyl alcohol, citral, eugenc’, isoeugenol, benzyl salicylate, coumarin, d-limolene (a citrus derived, liquid hydrocarbon), geraniol, lyral, famesol, lilial, linalool, benzyl benzoate, citronellol, hexyl cinnamal, alpha isomethyl lonone.”

This easily gets 5 stars from me. No other oils I've used so far (and there have been a lot) compare to the excellence of Shunga.

I highly suggest this sensual love oil. I have used it (or my husband has used it on me) almost every day for the last month. This is the perfect oil for a sexy massage as foreplay or for a good tension relieving massage at the end of a long work day. It has made me crave sweets a few times – I ended up chowing down on some strawberry ice cream. I am usually asleep in bed after a massage and it does leave a bit of a scent on my sheets. No complaints there; I am so in love with the Strawberry and Champagne “flavor” and scent. It does not stain the sheets either, nor does it leave a greasy mess. The sheets as well as my body clean up well with soap and water.
