Good Only For Privacy Minded
Good for gag-gifts, but not to get the job done. Duckies are just not sexy. Shape and material hindered the pleasure.Published: June 5, 2009
Pros:
Cute, discreet, waterproof.
Cons:
Hard material, not powerful enough, odd large shape.
I purchased this Duckie because I wanted a discreet product that could sit within reach, and not offend visitors if I happened to leave it out. I tried it alone, in and out of the tub, and with a partner. The final verdict: I don't care for it. It would be okay for someone who doesn't want to venture out to buy a sex toy, that looks like a sex toy, but for me it was too inconvenient to do the job.
The Duckie is a cute toy to have around the tub, and it is waterproof, but you may be better off just getting a detachable showerhead with massage settings. The vibrations on the Duckie were not strong enough, and it was too difficult to turn on and off. You need to squeeze the duck to do activate it, but the Duckie is made of hard plastic so it was difficult. Also, the hard plastic that was a bit uncomfortable for me.
With the vibrations not being powerful, and the Duckie being an odd shape, it was difficult to get it where it needed to go. The hard plastic would grind against my pelvic bone and become painful. Changing the batteries isn't a breeze either. I would hate to be stuck with only this Duckie if I am in the mood, and need to search for a screwdriver to change the batteries. .
It is not a good toy to use with a partner. The Duckie is a bit large to use with a partner in many positions. The only one that seemed to work for me, was when we were on the side and he was behind. After a few uses, it began to make a loud rattling noise that killed the mood. Plus, if you like using toys during sex or want to try it out, a duckie just isn't sexy.
However, it is a cute Duckie and would make a great gift.

Duckie Vibrator: Just cute or is it really worth it?
-
I have always had my eye out for the I rub my Dickie line. They are so adorable and let's admit it, having a toy in plain view that doesn't look like a toy, is just plain awesome.
With all the reviews available on these I keep having a tug of war between getting it simply bcs it is cute and whether or not it is worth it. It seems like they are hard to handle and tha batteries are hard to change. It works for some but not for others. Why is it worth if for you or according to you? -

They're fun, discreet, and waterproof. I've got two ducks and I'd give them a three out of five for speed. That's enough for me, but might not be enough for others. :)

How do you use the "I rub my duckie?"
-
I mean I understand that you can play with your clit but it doesn't look like you can insert it... does anyone know from experience?
-
It's mostly an external toy. The tail or beak might offer some awkward insertion but.. I wouldn't do that
-
You can insert the head....but then you're putting a ducks head inside of yourself. Your mileage may vary, but that just makes me feel weird :)

Thank you for viewing I rub my duckie – vibrator review page!

Thanks for your review. I'm sorry you didn't like it.
Perhaps it would work nicely for a back or neck massage? I would try it with a nice warming lube...
Thanks for the tip! The massage is a great idea but with the with the loud rattling it would not be relaxing in the least bit.
What lubricants are safe to use? What type of batteries does it take? How big is it?
A water-based lubricant should be safe to use. Any oil or silicone based lubricants would be damaging to the duck as it is made of rubber.
It takes 2 AA batteries.
At its tallest point it is about 5" and it is 5" long.
Sorry you were disappointed with it but he sure is cute! Thanks for the review!
Can't get more discrete than this
nice review!
thanks for the review
These are so cute but doesn't seem worth the price as a sex toy
