Got Wipes? Eden does!
Overall not that bad wipes by Eden, not being a picky person I can get past the after-smell. I think these wipes work best as a free gift or to be used as a selling point with all the advertising on the packaging. These were great to use for quick clean up but not something I will be rushing to purchase again anytime soon.Published: January 16, 2012
Pros:
Pleasant scent (before after-smell hits), Great as a free gift, Anti-microbial.
Cons:
After-smell reminiscent of chemicals, Hole to remove wipes too small, Only 10 wipes.
Like many before me, I received these as a free gift thanks to EdenFantasys! This is definitely a hit and miss product for many people but I decided to give these a try. My fiancée has always been a big fan of baby wipes; she loves the smell and feel of them. I am the opposite however, so I was somewhat worried choosing these wipes from previous reviews I had read. Suffice to say these were a nice surprise that I enjoyed much more than I had expected. I am not much of a picky person with most things in life, sometimes it does not take much to please me or make me happy.
As far as the packaging goes, I personally liked almost everything about it. Overall I feel the packaging is 50/50 with its design. I enjoyed the small and minimal packaging; it is durable enough considering the wipes are not stored in a plastic container like some others. This means once you are out of wipes you can throw away the packaging because you can't really re-use it. I can appreciate the fact Eden is making use of advertising on the packaging. I actually like the fact the phone number for Eden is included on the backside, I can still call if I lose access to the internet. Some customers reported that the clear sleeve that seals over the hole that you pull the wipes out of can rip in some cases. However I personally did not experience any quality issues with the packaging. My only real issue with the packaging is the hole to remove the wipes, to me it just seems small and removing wipes easily was a challenge at times. Finally, the packaging is not very discreet, more specifically "The Sex Shop You Can Trust".
For all intensive purposes I did test the wipes out on various toys I own and felt they did not really benefit me for cleaning my toys. I prefer to clean my toys in warm water and soap, and boil the silicone ones afterwards. As far as the scent on these wipes goes, I find it quite pleasant overall. It's just a matter of finding balance in the fragrance in my opinion. Sure if you stick your nose right on the wipe, or the hole of the packaging you are going to get this strong aroma of floral and chemical like smell. From a distance and using the wipes on my skin, the aroma was much more subtle and enjoyable. For some reason the after-smell does remind me of chemicals, more specifically hydrogen peroxide. That may sound weird but that's what it reminds me of.
When it came to using the wipes, I found them to work like most other wipes, that slight cool sensation from it touching my skin. They seem to do a fine job of making me feel clean; I have used them primarily for wiping the buttocks after anal play. For maybe 1 to 3 minutes I smell the fragrance from the wipes on my skin but it quickly dissipates. Sometimes I have very sensitive skin to certain chemicals and ingredients; I did not in the case of using the Eden wipes. No following irritation or reactions have occurred since using them. Some people are sensitive or have reactions to glycerin which is an ingredient found in the wipes. I have had no issues in the wipes drying out in the packaging, but to be better safe than sorry, I store them additionally inside a zip lock bag. Each wipe has a fabric like texture and design; they are stretchy and fairly strong. I especially like the fact they are anti-microbial, this means they will help to kill and inhibit the growth of bacteria.
Overall I am pleased with these wipes but I doubt I would purchase them anytime soon. There's not enough wrong with the wipes themselves, but I just feel the cost vs. each wipe seems impractical for me. If I really wanted wipes that bad I would shop locally for a 50 to 100 pack for $5-$10. In the end these were a nice free gift that reminds me how much I enjoy being a part of EdenFantasys. I really wish these were at least 20 wipes per package if they are taken off as a free gift. Otherwise I don't see it being practical for me to purchase them. Thank you for reading my review on the EdenFantasys toy and body wipes, if you also try them out I hope they are a pleasant experience.

Follow-up commentary
23 days after original review
While these are not the best wipes in the world or the cheapest, they have been serving me very well as a free gift with every order. I have been using this every time for some play time, and found them useful around the house for other clean ups. I think I have built up resistance to the after-smell with these; it does not seem to really bother me nearly as much. They even have come in handy sitting at my computer desk when I spill some coffee or soda. A quick wipe up prevents any sticky residue forming on the surface of the desk! Overall, I still like using these, but doubt I will go out of my way to specifically buy more when they are not available as a free gift.

Eden Wipes - FYI: date on back of package is made on date, NOT expiration date
-
I just received my first package of these, and was confused at first, at why they sent me wipes that expired in november. However, I looked for threads about this subject, and there already several that state this is the MANUFACTURE DATE. I just wanted to make it easier for everyone to see this information. Also, someone has stated they expire 3 years from the manufacture date. Please feel to verify this information as well.
-
I believe that is the info going around about these. I know there were alot of confused people at first, but I think we got it all figured out. Thank you for confirming it though.

Toy/Body wipes good for... lady parts?
-
I was just wondering if these wipes would be good for using on your lady parts as part of your after-fun-times clean up routine?
I'm trying to get better at cleaning myself up afterwards instead of just being lazy. Normally, I'll just get up and wipe with a tissue or toilet paper, but I feel like I could be doing more to clean up. -
I use the wipes down there quite frequently. I use them after play, when I'm on my period, and whenever I feel the need to. They're really handy.

Is this ok to use with fleshlight?
-
If I use this on a fleshlight, will it damage it or safe to use?
-
I am curious to this answer as well!
-
I don't have a fleshlight but, I've used this product on many types of toys with no issues. The only thing is that these are a bit expensive for just a few wipes and they are small.

Toy wipes vs. wet wipes
-
Are toy wipes safer/preferable to something like a general wet wipe? Can I use wet wipes on my toys without damaging them?
-
Quote: Are toy wipes safer/preferable to something like a general wet wipe? Can I use wet wipes on my toys without damaging them?I was asking about that in another thread here. See if there's any helpful information there. You might try comparing ingredients on some toy wipes vs. random wet wipes.
I don't have a definitive answer, though. -
Definitely depends on the toy, but I think general wet wipes are probably fine for toys that you clean with just soap and water. I used to buy wet wipes at the drug store that were "sensitive skin formula" or "hands and face" or something like that to try and reduce the amount of unsafe chemicals in them, and I'd always look at the ingredients list. But I've used general wet wipes on my hard plastic toys with no problems.

UNscented option?
-
I've been looking for a wipe like the Eden toy and body wipes--but I can't stand scents. Please produce an unscented version!
-
Unscented baby wipes? I hardly notice the scent on the eden wipes, though.
-
I agree with Elnoa, I hardly notice the scent at all unless I'm purposely trying to smell for it.

Larger pack?
-
I wonder if they will make them in a larger pack soon. The ten pack does not seem like it is enough.
-
I have noticed them in the free gift section.Personally, I would rather have the free shirt!

Do these come in a large volume package so maybe the price will shrink per sheet?

Quote: Do these come in a large volume package so maybe the price will shrink per sheet?Right now they don't, but if you mention it in the next 'Eden Should Carry...' thread I bet they'd listen! It's a good idea!

Thank you for viewing Eden toy and body wipes review page!

Lol thanks!
I liked these wipes because they were convenient, I actually ended up using them to remove my makeup. I got them as a free gift although when I got mine they had been expired for nearly a year I like the idea of wipes because I find it convenient but I would've liked them more if they were either unscented or if they smelled really good, also a bigger package would be a lot more useful but as a free gift they were a nice addition! Thanks for the review!
Great review; i get these with almost every purchase. I've also received the bags, t-shirt, cock ring, and condoms, but for the most part it is these every time. I love them for every day uses like when I find syrup stains in the boys room and have to clean it right up.
Kate are you sure they were expired or was that the date they were made? Thanks for commenting
Hey unfulfilled thanks again for reading and commenting on yet another one of my reviews. I greatly appreciate it! I never did choose many of the other free gifts really, I honestly doubt I would wear the shirt much. But makes a good shirt like the way you described
