Great novelty toy, or a fun gift!
This was a nice gift, since it was meant as a sexy hint at a night in the shower! But I would never buy this for myself, especially not for the price. Sportsheets usually produces much better products, but this one failed miserably. The bullet is weak, and the loofah seems cheap. If you're looking for a waterproof toy look elsewhere. If you're searching for a sexy, yet not too over the top gift, this would be a good one though!Published: December 9, 2011

This Sex In The Shower Vibrating Mesh Sponge wasn't a disapointment for me, but I received it as a gift, and it was a nice sexy thought though. Its really cute, and can be a fun little toy for in the shower, I wouldn't recommend buying it hoping for regular fin the shower. Could be better, especially since its by Sportsheets.
The sponge is a great purple color with a white string, just like any other loofah. The small, silver bullet is attached inside the loofah, and isn't too bad to get to. The bullet is obviously waterproof as well. It requires three watch batteries, which are included (luckily!). The bullet has a a simple push on/off button on the bottom of it, and it is only one setting. The vibrations aren't strong at all. They are just simply weak. If you're just looking for fun however, this is a great toy to just have to play with "if the moment occurs" in the shower or bath! Also, if you need to be discreet, this might work great. No one would ever expect it, and there's no way to accidently turn it on. It is very quiet, but that's only because it barely vibrates. The bullet does not come out of the loofah neither, unless you would be willing to cut your loofah (it isn't that great either!). Even if you did, the bullet still wouldn't be that strong.
The actual mesh sponge part isn't the greatest either. There isn't very many layers in the meshing, resulting in a small, limp loofah. I'd expect this kind of material from the ones I buy for a dollar at the dollar store. The mesh has small holes, and isn't too rough, but it definitely isn't super soft either.
To wash, just rinse the sponge out, and hang it up to dry. Anything can get on it, and no products are going to cause it to deteriorate any faster.

Experience
I received this as a birthday gift from my husband. It was in a basket with other sexy things such as games, blindfold, lingerie and a traditional vibe. We had a great night, and played on the bed, then in the shower, then in the bed again! The loofah vibe did follow to the tub, but it didn't perform too greatly. Since it was just the thought and the suggestion in the gift, I never had a problem with this vibe being around. I never orgasmed on it though, and it was only used twice.

Loofahs are reeeeally unsanitary, they grow bacteria really easy (especially if you keep them in the shower) so I really wouldn't want one to go anywhere near my cunt.
