Solid parfum - solid perfume by Not Soap Radio - review by derples

Like the title says, I think that this makes a very good hair scenting perfume! The scent is very pleasant and not overwhelming, and it has pretty decent staying power. The perfume container its self is compact enough that you can take with you in your purse or pocket and add a little more throughout the day if you desire. I dab it on my wrist and neck, and rub a little through my hair. It smells like roses, to me, and my roommate agrees.

I think every day is a good occasion to wear this perfume, it has a fresh and pretty smell like the way skin smells just after you've taken a bath in rose oil or used an organic flower-based soap. I've known people to enjoy burying their face in my hair to smell the shampoo I use, and you can put this through your hair to produce that same effect.

It is the texture of lip balm or chap stick, but a tad bit creamier. You just dab your finger in it and rub it into your skin and it does not leave a greasy or sticky texture behind.

Roses, flowery, and sweet. It isn't like "grandma's" perfume where the flowers are an overwhelming pungent scent, it is more subtle.

The scent sticks around for a few hours, but with perfume it is hard to tell exactly when it is fading or when you are just used to it. It comes off easily when you wash your skin, but it will fade on its own too.

The package is a small, cardboard rectangular box. The product itself is described as a "solid parfum", .51 oz, 15 grams and comes in a twist-top, rounded plastic container.

The ingredients are macadamia oil, coconut oil, beeswax, jojoba oil, "fragrance" and mica. The fragrance includes black currant leaf, black and red currant, Bulgarian rose, and jasmine according to the product description on this website, though these ingredients are not listed on the package perhaps due to space constraints.

I would say that the rose smell is the one that comes through the strongest, though the others are definitely discernible. The packaging states that it is best not to apply the product to the lips or eyes and also includes the assurance that this perfume was not tested on animals. It also states that the ingredients are "all natural".
