Candle light, hot oil, wonderful scent, delicious, and my hands massaging my lover's entire body, and then followed by my tongue.....sounds like the perfect night to me and there is nothing better than a good edible massage candle for that! I have never had a aessage candle before and was curious to see what it would be like, and Sex Kitten Wicked Wax stood out, especially with the different flavors to choose from. I, of course, chose strawberry because it's my favorite.

I knew that it would be a metal container since that is what the picture shows, so I was interested in seeing if it would be too hot to pick up after some time, or if it would take forever to burn. I was so excited to try it out that we used it within the first two days of receiving it! My partner has never had hot wax poured on them, and was a bit on the nervous side. I have never had massage candle oil on me but have tried wax and was curious of the heat differences. The massage oil was a lot more preferable! Though its a metal container, it never got too hot to touch, and the effect of the candle and oil in the metal case is actually kind of nice. It didn't take long to start melting, but it doesn't melt too fast either. What i mean by that is by the time you get a little teasing and foreplay going the candle has had just enough time to melt a portion of the wax and you can start to drizzle over the body! It's a very comfortable temperature, and the wonderful moan that comes from the receiving partner is definitely worth hearing!

It is very smooth, and as it's a massage oil, its slightly oily of course. It spreads easily across the body, and you don't have to use too much in any area to cover a larger area, meaning you can use the candle more than once if you don't over do it. It is definitely safe close to sensitive areas, and if you can handle it even on those wonderfully stimulating areas, you then have the pleasure of massaging and licking until your partner can't stand it anymore. I have definitely come to love massage oil. This particular oil didn't completely rub into the skin like I had hoped though, it stayed oily and somewhat on top of the skin, unlike a lotion that eventually completely soaks in. There was always a slight greasy feeling. Although the skin was wonderfully smooth, it definitely had to be washed off, but it was still a good oil to use.

The candle unlit smells absolutely delicious, and I am not talking about the fake sugar strawberry candy smell either. I am talking about the smell of yummy fresh strawberries! My partner thought it was hilarious that I sat there and just kept picking it up and smelling the candle. It's not strawberry season, and it smelled so good. Smell is one of our strongest senses and makes a huge impression. I was expecting an explosion of delicious strawberry taste when I licked it off my partner's body. Unfortunately, it was not as joyous of an occasion as smelling it had been. Don't get me wrong, it still faintly tasted like strawberry and it wasn't unpleasant at all. The licking part was still fun, but the taste definitely fell short of a high expectation. It was an oily wax taste with a touch of strawberry, do-able and I will still use it if I have it left over, but it definitely isn't my favorite taste in the world.

As a newcomer to the message oil field, I definitely liked my first choice of edible message candles. It smelled wonderful, spread across the body smoothly, perfect temperature, and definitely created the romantic and very erotic evening that I had pictured. I would probably get this candle again if I was on a budget because it is still a very good candle, it just lacks that explosion of taste that I longed for.
